I think it's the opposite of bang for buck, I think they're killing 2+ potentially great songs and ending up with one mediocre one. It's such a resource-intensive way of making music.
This is why I keep saying good shit is 80% execution 20% concept - even if people don't realize it, they sniff out sloppy execution every time

even if they gonna goes in the route of mixxing, at least you could create a private listening party or something to collect feedbacks?
but idk, maybe they already had and all of them like this songthey certainly do have meetings and feedback sessions to greenlight the song, to justify committing to the MV production and promo stages. So we can only assume that this made the grade
