    I'm not a blink. I can guarantee you pop music fans know a lot more about Blackpink than BTS. Blackpink appeal much more to them and was associated to other popstars while BTS is stereotyped and considered cringey.

    I don't see why armys feel the need to downplay BP's popularity in the US. Lisa alone sold 1 million of copies there. Insecurity much.

    Tbh I don't understand why you even mention BP. I do understand how it can be hard for BTS anti cause aside from them being indeed kinda known in US at this point they are also casually mentioned in US TV shows (even members individually are mentioned, at least j-hope and sometimes suga are), so yeah, it can be hard cause as BTS anti you can come across with some BTS mention very randomly somewhere no matter how much you try to escape them. But BP?... Unless you are in kpop bubble you just won't see anything about them in US and it's very easy to avoid any kpop bubble and don't see anything about them even if fans are mass trending something
