Doesn't the Rosé hate bandwagon remind you of something?

Just before blowing up and getting her international crown, Lisa was one of the most hated idols/performers. The same could be said about Jennie becoming IT girl, although she was crazy popular to begin with. Even if we broaden our scope, Hwasa was also a victim of immesurable hate before claiming her it girl status. Do you think the raising interest in Rosé (hater wise) will eventually translate into her individual fandom growing? Or did people just one day wake up and decide to ruin someone's life for fun and nothing will come out of it in the end?
