VMAs are irrelevant

but still they dont just invite anyone on VMAs unless they are that famous already to the US. You dont see twice or aespa in vmas because they arent that famous there and people wouldnt relate to their songs.

MTV and other attendees gets visibility from global audiences whom otherwise wouldn't give a damn. Now its not just all over social media but even on national tv in some countries. Pretty sure thats relevant to them.

BP gets a stage thats more accessible to a global audience than the regular local korean shows to promote their comeback. That's relevant enough for BP to fly there.

Fans gets loads of content and reasons for celebration. It's sure relevant to the fans.
