Why does Jisoo seem so miserable in America?

She seemed happy in SK before getting on the flight, but Jisoo has looked like she'd rather be anywhere else every time she's been spotted in New York since the moment they landed. I haven't seen one video or photo where she wasn't wearing headphones or had her hoodie pulled all the way over her head, which is very unusual for her. She usually interacts with fans the most, even when in other western countries like France or Spain earlier this year, so I wonder what about being in the US is making her like this. Now that I think about it though, she's the only member who hasn't been back here in 3 years and she and Lisa are rumored to be on a sooner flight out than the other two so maybe she really does just hate it here

A member being miserable in the US does not seem good for renewals if YG wants to continue pushing them in the US though

She is literally there with exhausting schedules and very little free time, I doubt she is miserable but she isn't having only fun time there, probably will get better for her once the vmas schedule ends

shes probably just tired and she has been nice to fans, just not the constant paparazzi who are constantly in her face.

Filming mv, filming content, rehearsels for vmas, rehearsals for other gigs, interviews, meetings. You wouldn't understand how an Idol work even if someone explain it to you with apples and pears

She is a person and we all have our off days. I am normally a friendly person but I have days when I'm not in a social mood and just want to be left alone.

Also, this kind of thinking is why idols who are the moodmakers of groups reveal later that they felt pressured to always smile and look happy.

Most people in the US are not stalking twitter for her every move. She does her job. If she sulks throughout the VMAs there may be a problem, but I bet she won't.

She's not left out, she is just the one who speaks less English. Lisa speaks a lot of English but is selfless in interviews, she lets Rosé and Jennie talk more and is considerate to Jisoo.

YG micro manages everything the girls do as they have no say in how they act in social life as well. My theory is that YG wants her to go for that laid back chic look while in america to get her more fans from the NY hip crowd. Every thing is planned before hand.
