I don't know about that, right now that Kpop is as popular as ever company should have the means to hire and work with the most important producers in the scene,, so I don't think that the quality is declining, what I'm feeling is that Kpop is trying to relate to a younger and younger audience that (usually) uses Tik Tok. That's why """"experimetal"""" music is trending at the moment by the way: they create extremely different sounding sections in a song hoping than one of those sections starts to trend, or maybe they take the other route and create TikTok ready choruses (like in "POP" , "Fearless", "Pink Venom")... Kpop was always extremely formulated, but this is too much even for me - the songs are starting to feel more like products

Like I'm not a boomer, I am barely 20, but sometimes I feel too old for the 4rth generation, that's why I relate to older groups more, at least they make normal-sounding music

My favourite song has always been Sherlock by SHINee. I remeber the first thime I have heard the song and I was shocked at how the songs sounded perfect to my ears. It's been 7 years and it is still my favourite

oh I really like sherlock too. The dance is so good and the chorus is freaking great.

And I love the live performances even more since Sherlock is a mixture of two songs (Clue and Note) and so during line events SHINee usually switch it up, change and add new sections to the song.
