the ebs (exo, bts, seventeen) in 4th gen according to knetz

  • *this is the info i've read from korean sites and forums

the three most popular 4th gen group with middle school and highschool students in

korea are nct, the boyz and txt. They called them "엔덥투" . Though nct is not a 4th gen group anymore but they still consider them as the top along with tbz and txt.

Txt fans are growing in sk. I can see them charting in melon above "daily top 100" (which is very rare for 4th gen bg) in the future.

i still have faith for enhypen and treasure to rise their fame domestically. They should join kingdom next season for exposure, don't you think?

and for skz and ateez, idk they already joined kingdom but tbz is only the group who gained more korean fans.

    Approved the thread.
  • do nct fans think mentioning nct as a 4th gen group all the time will actually make them one?

    they debuted in 2016 ffs

  • I think Enhypen and Treasure are still young and have the time to catch them up. The thing is that the boyz have a lot scandals and nct getting old so could become txt, enhypen and treasure later

  • I could argue for skz and enhypen easily snatching a spot on there.

Who even comes up with these ridiculous top 3 rankings. There was only a Top 1 and that was/is BTS. EXO did have steam but fell behind. SVT are underrated as hell when it comes to popularity rankings. If anything it should be top 4 with Wanna 1 being a strong contender overall for the third generation. I've seen the same ridiculous rankings when it comes to girl groups BP during 2016-2019 and maybe twice when they had asia on a chokehold were the only one's who stood out but kpoppies lump in a RV or MMM so they can have their stupid top 3/top 4 rankings when reality is far more complex than that. The kpop landscape today in itself is proof that such ranking mean shit.

  • nctzens never call them 4th gen. it's everyone else.

nct getting old. yeah, those Dreamies in the old people's home at age 20 to 23.

  • 3rd or 4th gen don't care but you bet nct dream is going to keep their foot on ya necks for at least 8 more years. They aren't going anywhere.
