If the song is terrible, it's not the artist fault but the company

    Calling the artists tank, flop, terrible, etc... because their songs didn't slap is weird. It's not their fault, it's the company. I do believe most groups or even soloist especially in kpop didn't have much power to determine the songs they will debut or cb with. Or they probably given few songs and only can pick one from it, which still not their fault as if what we get is already terrible, imagine how worst the others will be.


    This is especially for any antis of any group. Just attack the company. And for company stans, please if the songs is terrible it would not hurt your faves by telling the truth as it's not their fault.

    eh I agree with not attacking artists, but it depends. Some artists get more control of the creative process than others... and even then, that's a one part of the machine. There is also how the music is marketed, how the choreo looks, the aesthetics of the visual material, etc etc.


    But anyways, in certain scenarios, I think the artist can take some of the blame, but obviously they should by no means be attacked. But yeah, I do of course acknowledge it doesn't happen often where they get a lot of control.

    i get ur point but the song is being promoted under the artists name not their company. people aren’t going to go into an in-depth analysis of how the artists have no musical freedom and are just being forced into what the company puts out for them :pepe-shrug:

    Why is it ok to blame the company for something that goes wrong, but when something goes well it is never the company that gets praise?

    If the song is good the producers should be praised, idols should only be praised on how they portray the song.

    Cause some idols just don't do justice for great songs but still they get praised cause of the music itself is good.

    But some idols even hard carry mediocre song with their talent but usually be criticized for the music.

    But honestly people have different energy for their faves and non faves. If their faves release bad songs they blame the producers. But they blame the artist for their non faves. :pepe-shrug:
