Seems like on Korean forums, all these 6 rookie groups are considered frontrunners for roty. to avoid fanwars, should rookie of the year be split to all 6 groups?

regardless, awarding groups on vocal skill alone is pointless, a group's success is a team effort and its more fair to factor in everything down to production, promotion, live stages, fan engagement (for which there is no accurate measurement)
What have JYP groups done in the last 2 year to deserve any award?
They haven't been the best groups of the year, songs of the year, albums of the year..... when you say ignoring, you mean rightfully giving groups with bigger songs or bigger achievements awards?
The concept of awards is for the people best in their field to get it. This is provided by metrics such as sales, charting, jury and fan votes. JYP groups have not had any songs that have captured the zeitgeist over the last 2 years to put them or their groups in the running.
Same for OP - an award is for the best, not for everybody. What's the point if everyone gets it? Meaningless.
Ive newjeans le sserafim delivered the best girlgroup music this year. Those 3 deserve.
if it's about talents only, idol groups aren't the ones to talk about fairness.
