I'm not too sure about mainstream, but hiphop n rnb are becoming increasingly popular in Korea as we see through charts and the insane applicant numbers on SMTM.
You have Jay Park, Jessi, Gray, Groovyroom, Sam D, Bewhy, etc. that are all generally known by the public. I think Loco is pretty well known. Changmo is definitely more mainstream after Meteor. Someone mentioned Giriboy which I agree with. Crush definitely comes to mind and with that Zico? Especially after Any Song. Also Zion.T and BIBI I would say. Maybe Kid Milli? I'm not sure. It's difficult to say

what i hear is hiphop is more popular in korea than kpop and hiphop shows like smtm. Loco, ph1, simon dominic i know these names and not even heard their songs.l

It’s difficult because it’s very mixed and some of the r&b artists has both hiphop and kpop elements and vise versa.
And you have a few kpop acts with really good rapping skills.
