BP: anyone who acc believes bp is coming back in august is a clown, at best we'll get a prerelease or maybe just the teasers for the prerelease in august. "but yg confirmed it" they also said bp was going to comeback in 2021 and that didnt happen. and they've always pushed back the pink's comebacks so dont be shocked when bp doesnt come out with an album in august.
IVE: this honestly depends on their song. theres a lot of speculation that theyre coming back with a summer song and if that happens, things could go either really well or really bad because most of their fandom and even most causal listeners and the gp likes their sound now
New Jeans: they'll most likely perform like Le Sserafim, chart mid and then if the song is good, continously rise up the charts and build up their fandom but its weird how anyone thinks they're going to be giving the other groups a run for their money. at best, they'll become a dark horse like how ive did with love dive by continuously being near the top and then just outlasting every other group and claiming the top spot
SNSD: This depends on the song SM chooses. If it's anything like what aespa released on the lame girls on top song, the only people who are going to care are 2nd gen geezers and this will perform like big bang comeback with initial attention and hype and then becoming forgotten by everyone except their fans
Twice: twice has been flopping on kcharts for so long, idk why kpop fans suffer from memory loss and acctually think they're going to top charts like the past. nayeon's success shows that ppl liked twice for their older sound and with their new direction, the only ppl tuning in is their fandom so expect mid charting but if the song is good, itll prob do better globally
tldr: bp aint coming, twice and new jeans will perform mid, and the real competition will be between ive and snsd but i wouldnt hold my breaths for either
