I like attention though hype boy is a flop for me. But what I really noticed is that all of them sound virtually the same, I can't distinguish their vocals from eachother. I'd say only Danielle has a voice and tone that I somewhat recognize, otherwise they sound monotonous.
To add on, their vocals are lacking all around tbh. I know 4th gen doesn't focus much on vocals, but their technique and tone leaves much to be desired.
With time their voices will develop, I mean they are still so young and new so I guess their lack of vocal diversity is just because of that

hybe loves to autotune too much sometimes TT, and seriously it makes the vocals sound waayy too alike. Especially if the girls already have similar tones.
To be honest, it is hard to say this since the tracks released are mostly intros into their songs and overall concept. It’s like some of TXT’s bsides where it’s hard to tell who is singing but it’s quite apparent in the title track. Also, a lot is due to not knowing the members in itself and their similar styling. I’ll wait until their title and first stages

well, their other songs might change that. I agree. Still, I feel that no vocal stand out to me at all, and their technique thus far is not great. Disappointed in these aspects.

But their tracks have noticeable small amount of vocal processing compared to other Hybe groups. I don’t even recall any heavy corrective autotune except when it’s used intentionally or at some parts

Good point, in comparison to other tracks there is less processing. Maybe it's just the member's vocals then being too similar 
I'm not too knowledgeable in autotune etc, so I can't really say. but I know autotune tends to make vocals seem similar in sound, at least to me.
they are not doing it for their new ggs both lsm and newjeans sounds clean to me, at least in that case it's safe

I have the same issue with Le Sserafim and NMIXX for the most part though they both have a couple of stand out voices. For me it's not even about knowing who the members are because I don't know the members of several groups yet I can tell when someone else is singing for the most part. I think NewJeans is definitely lacking at this point... it may be a style choice and it may not be, we will just have to hear a few more songs to tell.

eyy, great point. And I agree. I can tell different vocalists from each other generally in groups I don't know. If I didn't know they were a group, attention would almost sound like a soloist song to me.
Tbh at least in hype boy they sounded better. I do agree abt the lack of diversity of vocal tones and i hugely aslo attribute it to them not having really found their "colors" as singers. I think these girls are very raw talent wise and i do find it somewhat endearing..i think their unique concept, style and sound is whats gonna carry them for now tho tbh.

I agree with you, but they will have time to improve with more comebacks! A debut is never enough to judge kpop groups especially when nowdays many of the members are trained for a short time before debuting, in kpop generally I mean
