Hybe debuts many groups yet people always tune in…How?

  • In 4 years they debuted Txt, Enhypen, Lesserafim now New Jeans. They are planning to roll out at least 5 more groups too in the next year. This could lead to saturation yet people still tuned in every time. How do Hybe keep people interested?

  • Do you know the debut numbers for TXT crown? TXT caught upto those numbers in 2021. After 3 years and Spotify growing everywhere.

There's definitely saturation and their international brand exposure has become similar to other big3 groups.

  • i haven't heard of any of them.

  • Company stans, just like all the other labels.

  • TXT is their 2nd group after BTS. Enhypen came from survival show, some members were BigHit trainees & trained with TXT. 2 former members of Iz*One for Lesserafim. Min Heejin was creative director from SM, people are familiar with her works. Trainee A already has some exposure before debut, one member was/is popular child actor from Thailand, the other one was in SMTM. Introducing your new artists through a youtube channel with 67M subscribers is already a good start.

More fans eventually like the idea of HYBE Labels, they're doing good job promoting HYBE family agenda: did their own Weverse concerts, tik tok challenges within their idols, & a variety show with Na PD. More company stans = more fans tune in to their upcoming artists. They're actually smart? and moving fast.

  • Most of their groups have good songs

  • Company stans, just like all the other labels.

I was thinking 'BTS' but this is actually a better answer.

HYBE is very fresh and new as a company, doesnt mean it doesnt already have its fair share of company stans and success stans getting behind multiple HYBE groups.

  • Bts is still in the building so they take advantage to create groups as much as possible , it's not that hard to understand

  • 1. company stans - hybe stans are the second wildest people after sm stans. i've said this before i'll say it again - you can call hybe's shade of yellow ugly and in a few minutes you'll have hybe stans in your mentions writing essays about how this colour symbolises happiness, teamwork and how it exactly corresponds with band pd's vision for the future of kpop

    2. familiar faces - a user above mentioned it already but i'm going to say it too. hybe is always working with familiar to the kpop fans faces and knows how to promote their groups properly.

    • txt got all the bts hype since they were the second group to debut after them
    • enhypen also benefited from the previous two because everyone saw how good txt was doing plus they came from a survival show so naturally, they had a fandom even before the final lineup was ready
    • le sserafim got sakura and chaewon - two of the most popular iz*one members which alone was enough to secure a huge debut. add to the mix yunjin who has had a fandom waiting for her since pd48 days and you have a group in which half of the members are already established artists with big solo fanbases
    • newjeans is The min heejin group's. everyone knows who min heejin is and naturally, everyone wants to see her work
    • trainee a hasn't even debuted yet but they still have a huge following because of mountains pre-debut content showcasing their skills. it's a smark marketing strategy that is obviously working

    3. they release great music - now, one thing about hybe groups is that they have great producers. you can hate them with all your might but you can't deny they do release bops, if not every time, the majority of the time. that's why people tune in, because they know the music won't disappoint (in most cases)
