They are doing so to make themselves believe their own delusion that "BTS members can't make it individually". It's just wishful thinking. They are actually trying to cope with the fact that BTS members will take all the individual accolades all these kpop soloist had all these years (which were the only things that anyone not related to BTS actually had). Because they already know no one will come close BTS as a group but now it would be difficult with solo stuff as well. It's coping mechanism at its peak.

I also primarily use Apple Music. I use Spotify only for the first week when my favorite artists release new music and when I am in mood to discover new music on my own.....

I had Spotify for a while too but I wanted to simplify since I also used iTunes before streaming and I prefer the HD - lossless - Dolby Atmos quality etc.

Where are the people who were very concerned about Jhope's situation prior to and during the actual solo debut? My heart was overwhelmed with so much concern being shared around about Jhope's solo career.

Many were concerned about a lot of things that you'd think Jhope's future career is doomed. But then again, they seemed to be only looking after what's best for him. Right? That was their intent, right?

Let me just say one thing. If I had a dick, this is where I tell them to suck it!

Just stop the fake concern. Being salty is never a good look!

No. Hoseok is the first ever soloist to chart all 10 songs on US spotify. Yoongi did not chart whole album, he charted 9 songs. But BTS, Hoseok and Yoongi are definitely the only Asian acts in history to chart at least 9 songs on the same day.

Ugh, I am worried about bb200 and hot100 tho. Hopefully we'll do well there.
