Itzy's biggest weakness is their vocals

I don't mean that they can't sing, but their vocal tone. Apart from Ryujin who doesn't sing much, the other 4 have very similar vocal tones. Lia is obviously the strongest but she doesn't have the grunt that many other main vocals do which doesn't give enough distinction from the rest of Itzy. Chaeryeong and Yuna are quite similar and Yeji bridges the gap between them and Lia.

It just makes repeat listening to Itzy's songs harder. Most of their rivals have 2 or more members in each of their groups with distinctive voices that you can really tell apart.

Like all members in Blackpink and Aespa. Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon in Twice, Wendy, Seulgi, Joy in RV. Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon in NMixx. Yujin, Liz, Rei in Ive, Yuqi, Minnie, in Gidle. Chuu, Heejin, Jinsoul and Kim Lip in Loona.

Anyone else feel the same? Or do most people disagree?

They're surely one of the weakest groups in terms of vocals rn. And I think it's what's really holding them back when it comes to tackling new concepts, new genres. They're too limited.

It's not that they can't sing; but they lack diversity in their range and tones. They lack contrast.

Agree. Their range is very limited and the shouty singing gets old really fast. It also makes all their songs start to sound the same.

why y'all fronting? Itzy can't sing and their tones makes it harder to listen to their songs. At least they make up for it with their amazing stage presence and good choreos. Some groups have nothing going for them music wise

This is true and is why I don’t listen to them. They’re great dancers but their voices are not good.

The only strong dancer in BP is Lisa. Rosé and Jennie are mediocre dancers

Their vocals are weak and it ruins any possibility of a good song.
