MELON CHART IS LOSING THEIR DIGITAL MUSIC CREDIBILITY

I mean the melon chart is shit but it is not like you will find many different songs on top of yt and spotify. Melon is just a mess during the zombie hours

Why they only talk about Melon tho?

Flo and Genie are the same especially on the first hour of the day. It is more severe when it is on Sunday, but other day doesn't look bad.

Also, bug is shit, ichart should remove that chart like Soribada. All new song chart on top is stupid and blocking my IVE's paks is the real reason.

Yeah, ULs have taken a nosedive on Melon. A song used to need like 400k to crack the top 10, but these days, you can be in the top 10 for like 150k daily ULs.

But then again, I'm sure I am missing something since they have reformed the chart so much these days. Probably to keep from hemorrhaging users, but it only seems to be hurting them rather than helping.

This why the charts are so important do we really need them to validate our musical taste ?

i guess it is important for those that listen to the charts. I use spotify and i don't care what's on the top 100 charts coz it doesn't affect me enjoying the music i listen to

Ooh, I like to see the hypocrisy of Kpop fans, when a trot singer, trots nonchalantly over to the top of the charts. All those stereotyping - ahjumma fans, dissing the chart etc. all comes out.

Very reminiscent of the section of Americans, who found some Asian Group mass streaming up the Billboard chart and made such snarky comments about the fandom, about the irrelevance of Billboard etc.

What goes around, comes around.

But it would be even better when the BTS solos sail into trot territory, or collabs with LYW. I would like to see reactions to that.
