Though it's usually through retailers, instead of being through the albums themselves.

The Yes I Am photobooks always have events that have random draws depending on how many you bought for a fanmeet.

That's also how the fansigns in Korea work. If you buy from a local retailer, you get a chance to get a fansign ticket. The more you buy, the more likely you get into the fansign.
