  • GOT7 - "GOT7" (2022)

    1. Truth - I like it a lot, catchy song for beginning of the album

    2. Drive Me To The Moon - sounds fun, I like the vibe a lot!

    3. Nanana - LOVE <3

    4. Two - it's hard for me to focus on that song when it's next to Nanana lol But it's actually pretty good

    5. Don't Care About Me - it's ok, but doesn't resonate with me too much

    6. Don't Leave Me Alone - yes, I like it

  • ooh I have been listening to several discographies over the last month or so. I should have made a thread. :eyes:

  • Kep1er - "First Impact" (2022)

I've listened to this album so many times and I've skipped tracks 4-6 too much, so I'm relistening again.

    1. See The Light - <3<3<3

    2. Wa Da Da - <3<3<3

    3. MVSK - <3<3<3

    4. Shine - fun to listen to and actually now I don't understand why I was skipping it so much. MVSK suits my playlists better I think, but it's still good.

    5. Another Dream - I always have hard times with ballads, not really my style. For the right mood, it's cute and dreamy.

    6. O.O.O - wow, such a different mood from intro to first verse and chorus. That song surprises me the most. Feels a little bit too messy for me.

I'm excited for their comeback soon :pleading:

  • That one needed time to grow on me (as well as Gone Away), but they're both good now that they grew on me. The View and Silent Cry I loved instantly with no regrets.

ah so true, that's why I'm relistening albums a lot because most of the songs start to grow on me after about 3 listenings. Sorry, I Love You was instant love for me, but Silent Cry was a gradual love in my case, so completely the opposite ^^

  • Yukika - all discography

Yukika is one of my favourite solo artists. I adore her beautiful and soft vocals, but what makes her music special is a fact that her songs are city pop inspired. City pop was a music genre in Japan in the 1970 and 1980s. Yukika as Japanese was listening to that genre when growing up and now she revives that style in her modern k-pop albums.

    Yukika - Soul Lady (2020)

As a jazz lover I'm very biased. Since I'm also learning Japanese and city pop is an inspiration for my studies, this music is just a perfect match for me. There's no song I don't like really! I like also how all interludes create a nostalgic vibe for the whole album. It's simply perfect <3

Let me just pick a few favorites then: pit-a-pet, Cherries Jubiles, Shade, NEON

timeabout and the rest of the singles - TBA

  • Yukika - timeabout, (2021)

What a beautiful album! Every song here is like a treasure to discover and celebrate in special moments. I adore disco vibes and a late-night city atmosphere. Yukika creates her own little space with this flowing retro-inspired music. There's no skip song really. Especially worth listening to is the title track "Insomnia". My B-side recommendation is "TIME TRAVEL" <3

  • Yukika - singles (2020 - 2022)

I've listened to all singles and featuring songs I could find on Spotify, and there are quite a few tracks to listen to. Since Yukika is quite consistent in her music style, I think I'll just highlight some of my favorite songs as a recommendation. Btw in April Yukika shared on her instagram, that she recently got married, which is truly lovely, I wish her all the best :pleading: She also added in the same post, that she will try to make her fans listen to good music with the next album - which I'm looking forward to of course! <3

My favorite singles: Orange Road, What're You Doing Tonight?, Tokyo Lights, Scent
