Yes, but people are acting like hiatus means they won't be putting out more content as a group, which is not true. Plus "hiatus" has become a very loaded term in the music industry - just look at even this thread. People are writing eulogies on AKP when there's no funeral.

BTS have taken many temporary breaks, they have never gone on a hiatus. Even Army translators said the subs were wrong and what Yoongi said was our off time. As the boys said the break is in not releasing group music for now but group activities will continue. They have confirmed that they will shoot Run BTS and future schedules are being planned as well
