I’d say first week of July or a week before for the festival. I think the festival will probably be one of his first performance of his album.

HYBE usually opens pre-orders at least 1 month in advance. If pre-orders don't open by the end of this month, I guess it will probably be released in August. Maybe he will make his solo album show case at the festival and the album will be released around August 5th?

Nah, he has whole hour for himself, even if we cut from this time for chatting/breaks and even if we add to list of possible songs his solos from BTS albums, he still has no enough songs for whole hour considering that some (like Blue Side unfortunately) are not really festival material. Plus he needs fans to get used to the music to be able to sing along with him. So imo he needs to release new music before festival.

As for pre-order being opened 1 month in advance. Idk. We still have time if we consider release date as 22nd or 29th. Plus hybe has never promoted soloist, maybe their release tactics will change and pre-order will beopened just few weeks in advance. Or maybe we are all wrong and proper album don't really mean physicals but just availability on Korean streaming sites and no availability of free download links

Well, for me it makes sense if he is really gonna make from hobipalooza an actual start of his promotional cycle. I mean, thus we'll have a situation when nobody have seen any performance yet and everyone will be curious and hyped and tune in to event in the fullest. Cause, for example, if he debuts 22nd then he will perform title plus maybe b-side on some Korean music shows first cause imo he won't wait for whole week after debut to show performance. It's just my imho obviously but for me it kinda makes sense

he can promote both in sk music shows and lollapalooza, they aren't mutually exclusive. or he can promote/perform his new album only at the festival, both works.

i've been to festivals, having a setlist with half of the songs you didn't or barely heard isn't fun. it's okay to promote one song but more than that is imo too much
