What is this pre application thing? Like what do people do to apply? The number seems crazy so I am wondering is it like how fans say things like “there’s 100k people in demand” when it’s just the number of people who visited the ticket website link. Not that there were 100k people trying to buy tickets.

Yes, I can vouche for this. Especially if the tickets are being sold on Ticketmaster. Every show for SKZ this summer in US has been a nightmare on resells.

It’s for those who apply to buy the tickets. Same as SNSD 1st Japan concert. I remember they got 300k application for their first japan concert.
