Being a stan or a fan of successful groups is not a bad thing

There's nothing wrong imo with wanting a group to have success in their career. A true fan should want that for their bias groups. I know I do.

I think you misunderstood what people mean when they call someone a successful stan . it's not because they are stanning a popular group it's about jumping from one group to another and literally looking for the next group to stan without any attachment to any of them. People can do whatever they want but it does seem they stan a group based on their success more than their music it's more about bragging rights than anything else.
