Sure, acids can be solid. I've bought a bag of citric acid once (main acid in lemon). It's hella sour. Like half a teaspoon and it'll be the dominating flavor in whatever you're cooking.

You're talking about the vegetable? I find them quite sweet. Maybe a little bitter but it wouldn't be the main thing I associated with their taste.
From what I can find sourness is from organic acids and bitterness is from organic bases. Still not completely sure about the bitterness though but as simplified answer I think it works

Mangetout is not sweet it got horrible ttaste. It's the worst vegetable ever and tastes like sad. ![]()
If you're right we just need to decrease the H3O+ concentration to get our bitterness base. ![]()

But agreed that raw zucchini is the WORST. It can be nice cooked though
