Ngl having huge album sales and yet „basic“ streams/views seem weird...

not weird when you have fangirls buying albums by the box
then why don’t they stream?

takes time and effort. Plus, they're more interested in the photocards than the music.

Half of these groups who get 1-2 million album sales are no names in S.K. it's all cause of bulk buying from fans and crazy collectors who buy 50-100 copies.
-
having high sale doesnt mean they will get high stream too
-
people like groups in different ways, some for visuals, some for music, some for performances, some for variety and stuff etc
having high sale doesn't mean high streams
-
i think not even western artists have a good balance between physical sales, streaming and touring numbers
-
they use the CDs they bought.

Bro OP literally mentioned BP as a group who should be selling million, "cuz streams", yet their Chinese fandom is the biggest bulkbuyer. Make it make sense.

Bulk buying is okay if it's for BP. Get with the program.

Why is that weird? Isn’t the question why are so many people with so many casual streams unable to sell albums? That you can have so many streams and still struggle as an artist?

Just because getting a fandom is MUCH harder than getting streams doesn’t mean their fans aren’t streaming.
One million albums is at most 1 million people and even if we go with bulk buying and half that it’s only 500k people… how much do you think 500k ULs results in streams wise?
Many groups have 4-6 million ULs on Spotify and only need less than quarter of those ppl to actually buy the album to be million sellers.
Being a million seller should be the easiest thing but many aren’t because they can’t get a fandom no matter how hard they try lol. They can’t even get 500k ppl out of their 20 million 30million ULs to buy albums. Now that’s embarrassing.

lol 500K people for 1M albums is not bulk buying.

Bro that proves my point more not yours. If only 500k or 100k or whatever number you think is buying a million albums is able to get 15 million and 20 million or whatever streams that means their fans are streaming their songs that much and their fans are into the music that much that they’re able to get those streams.
Anyway you are speaking out of your ass, know no stats and seem incapable of comprehension so imma assume you’re a troll and walk away. Take care. And try not to take more Ls.

That's not bulk buying; that's group orders for people who want one or two copies because they can't buy them locally.
-
Let's see....
All albums originate from Korea which means they all get added to the Gaon Album chart.
Meanwhile there are dozens and dozens of streaming services out there that don't feed into an overall chart. I'm sure if you added up all the streams of a kpop group on every single streaming platform in the world that you'd probably find something fairly similar to the Gaon totals which is the groups who sell the most also carry high stream numbers.
