I. Introduction
Neo City: Seoul - The Origin is the first live album from the permanent NCT sub-unit, NCT 127. It was released on October 24, 2019.
II. Background and Release
The album was recorded live over two nights in during stops in NCT 127's first tour, the worldwide Neo City - The Origin tour. The songs were recorded on January 26 and 27 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. The tracklist includes songs from all of NCT 127's releases at the time: NCT #127, Limitless, Cherry Bomb, Chain and Regular-Irregular, as well as songs from the NCT all-unit album NCT 2018 Empathy.
The original physical release included 2 CDs, a phonebook, lyric book and photo cards. A second version was released, which including backstage and concert footage. A Japanese version of the album was also released, Neo City: Japan - The Origin, which captured live versions of the tour in Japan during three shows at Saitama Super Arena, including Blu-Ray backstage and concert footage.
