Bury is a strong word
AKB48 has over 30 singles that sold over 1 million copies on Oricon, I think bury is the correct word here

A female act on par with peak AKB48 lmao
I love Twice and they are doing amazing in Japan, but during their peak AKB48 would bury Twice

Jennie's visuals... is seriously falling behind...
I wish I could look that good while my visual was falling down
The amount of people who think it's okay to assault someone because their joke offends you is astonishing. He should've been kicked out by the security but what can you expect from an award show that awards well know pedophiles
It was pain listening to the song, I had to turn it off after a minute... I don't know who thought this was a good idea but they need to be fired
He does what?? lmao pls say it aint so
I would add Oh. It was a massive hit in SK.
2NE1's last performance as 4
I want to be added to both please
okay so a follow up question. is their dominance considered an anomaly? did any groups from 1st gen maintain their popularity for that length of time?
the problem with 1st gen groups is that they usually disbanded after 3-4 years... they never even had a chance to get tho soshi level...
the general public isn't interested in k-pop anymore, it doesn't matter how many members a group has, now it's all about international fans bacause we are the ones keeping k-pop alive
The performance was great, I just wish SM would let them sing live, otherwise what's the point of having a mic?
2NE1 always seemed very close and knew eachother well.
I would also say SNSD, but the Jessica scandal still remains a mystery so only God knows.
Also Wonder Girls are still friends after all these years, so they must have a bond too.
Funnily enough, Tempo. I just really didn't like the chorus, especially with the sqeuaking sound in the background.nBut now I can appreciate the quality.
That's not what the problem is, the thing is, in the concert they introduced Girls on top as a group that stands for female empowerment, but the lyrics of the song do not align with what they said. I do get your point but do we seriously need this type of song in 2021? Especially because of the way the writer, Ryan Jhun, spoke of the song on his Twitter (he is known to be quite sketchy). I'd understand your point if SM didn't say GOT's concept was female empowerment.
I didn't know their official concept was female empowerment. That does make it embarassing tbh.
And I absolutely agree that they should not have let him write the song. It's just very hypocritical. But then again, it's K-Pop so we have to keep your expectations low, unfortunately.
leaving all the controversies aside it’s honestly embarrassing to claim you’re on another level because your man is next level and that got you next level lmao of all things to brag about yourself you’re saying your self-worth lies in your man? istg I don’t know what they were thinking when they wrote this song lol
I agree that the lyrics is very cringy. That does not make it offensive
I just checked the lyrics and don't understand what's the fuss about... bad women exist and I don't see what's wrong with having a song about them. People are acting like this song is addressed to every single woman in the world. It is not. It's about a specific type of women. Again just people finding things to be offended about.
