More than the amount of people listening to Set Me Free in 2023
More than the amount of people who can even name Moomamooma's last few songs.
Maybe it's possible, but this is definitely not the sort of virality that will last or be particularly profitable. They are officially one-hit wonders who are now looked down upon by a large chunk of the Korean public. Gaining the rights to their hit song now is like owning a patent on CD players in the digital age.

So the CEO now owns the copyright to Cupid and everything else associated with Fifty Fifty? The song is big enough to probably earn at least 6 figures every year, which is big money for a nugu label. I think he will have a good opportunity to debut another GG via the survival show, plus he apparently got foreign investment as well.
Earn 6 figures every year? What do you think this is, a Mariah Carey song about Christmas? Is anyone even still listening to Cupid in 2023?

There's that damn butterfly again...

Really....
Why, lol?
Maybe she's doing the influencer route?
If she's going for music and/or acting, this makes no sense.
Why doesn't it make sense? I wouldn't expect much to come of this either way, but she likely didn't have any better offers.

Unfortunately she obviously felt compelled to perform despite being sick due to all the rumors surrounding her at the moment. If she had missed their first performance since, the rumor mill would've gone back into overdrive.
Her contract is not expiring. They are releasing an album in November.
Idiot.

Y'all sound so salty over old news. Stop living in the past, just accept that Twice's dominance happened and look to the increasingly uncertain future.
Trying to let you know.

"We want to create an American group. How can we best appeal to an American audience?"
"Oh, I know! Give them and their songs the most foreign-sounding names possible!""I love it. Why didn't I think of that?"
"And throw in a 13-year-old! Nothing says "This is some Disney Channel shit" like saddling them with a prepubescent runt!" -
I mean I hate to be a negative nancy but all these groups who are still "active" after switching labels, they never release music. SNSD made one comeback in 5 years after the three members left SM. KARA didn't make a comeback until 7 years later. Even T-ara who have the rights to their name, have only made one comeback since they officially disbanded. Girl's Day hasn't even made one comeback since they left their label. The fact of the matter is they say this to appease fans who don't wanna accept disbandment. But at the end of the day, disbanded groups are just as active as these "inactive" groups where the members are all under different companies. I mean it's just a logistical nightmare and profits probably aren't gonna be as good when you're splitting between a bunch of labels.
Contrary to some of the more hopeful narratives we see regarding this, group members leaving their original companies is almost always a very bad sign for the group's activities. It usually signals that they're effectively disbanded but with the possibility of occasional reunions left open. However I don't know if most Blackpink fans would even care. If they go inactive like these other groups did, only having a reunion once in a blue moon, who would even notice?
I mean they love to boast of BP's touring power, so they'd probably notice the complete lack of touring from now on, but other than that... business as usual!

Besides the fact that the song isn't appealing, that one girl sounds awful. She doesn't belong anywhere near a microphone. Makes Momo sound like Whitney Houston.
The media doesn't care. Literally the only Kpop acts they've attached themsleves to are BTS and to a lesser extent Blackpink. Twice have broken through to a western audience almost entirely on their own, in spite of the media's apathy, not thanks to them. I don't know how you can claim the west doesn't care about girl groups when them and BP are filling stadiums there, something they're not doing in Korea mind you.

I'm sorry a random forum poll that chose NewJeans as the next group up has you malding in mommy's basement.
Maybe Twice will win the next random AKP poll.
And yes, I'm petty king. Duh. If you say something ignorant, which you did, I'll let you know about it.
Time for you to go find a branch to swing from, Mr. Monkey's Uncle.

That would be an upgrade, since monkeys at least get a chance to touch some grass. Something a terminally online and clearly triggered stan like yourself might aspire towards.
But yes, let's take your clearly credible word for it, with no obtusely hidden agenda to speak of, as opposed to the word of a person who was at said festival
Nothing but petty insults. And I'm the triggered one? LOL
I have no agenda, hidden or otherwise. You, on the other hand, are obviously quite the NJ stan and need a wee bit of a reality check. Well here it is.
Lmao no sane Bunny said NewJeans could sell out stadiums today.
I personally said they could tour the US today if they wanted to. Which is absolutely true.
If it were true they'd be able to prove it.
