Obviously they are and there hasn't been a bubblegum pop group that has their vocal tone diversity, Harmony, well rounded skills and the depth put into their production even with their filler pop song. Their concept was perfectly balanced and in circumstances that could only be replicated at times pace not a company's. Why? Because they weren't just a group but a moment in history.
The only issue is the Jessica thing. They really shouldn't have done that in that moment in their career and before Tokyo Dome. That whole incident is the focus of any SNSD discussion. Their musical legacy and their main component of their branding was affected by it. With some people disregarding pre 9/14 music ???? Ignoring their hits and their extremely well done besides for the green they were pioneering? Yes pioneering: IGAB.
They are SNSD and each member significant/is bigger than westerners will truly understand but their legacy isn't appreciated as much as it would be if it was still the unbreakable 9 and their perfect harmony that set the standard for the entire generation and those to come

I’m actually in the minority that SM will still continue to push aespa
They’ve already delayed the New girl group to debut early Jan instead of this year and I think it’s because they see aespa’s potential and want to focus on one group at a time/ not have two potential big groups clash/ overlap with promotions and results
I agree aespa hit with next level but they were getting back to back comeback love until recently. It took them a moment to get to that point and its clear their concept is still growing conceptually when that peaks then i think aespa will be expected to coast on their popularity

Aespa havent hit their peak with the gp so theyll be fine

I like how good everyone looks and sounds like its in a comfortable range and like theyre casually having fun with the track without the pressure of keeping up their signature energy. That the intimate sister of kura kura. Plus the use of blue which is a color they dont use often probably due to their hyper traditionally feminine image

Honestly for 4th gen is so wierd it still feels like the prerequisite to gen 5 mainly because so many plans didnt go as planned in gen 4 the most consistent and stable product was wonyoung and the most consistently loved group was ive. I honestly feel like "gen 4" itself was about her and its something no other it girl has. Like all the groups that hit their stride during that era that aren't big 3 or ive seem to have veered off the path.
It feels like the top 5 are the only 5 thats relevant. Well them and itzy who are disrespected alot eventhough theyre the most consistent group from gen 4th gen

uh oh some people in the future are gonna re analyze the concepts female idols did at 17 AGAIn for the next month on YouTube. ppl back then saying they were 18 Korean age gave a pass to that in the context of Korea's culture. (there's been a lot of videos on this subject lately -_-)

oh totally i turn 30 in two months and i love nj their music is soo chill older audiences love it just because it isnt neon senosry overload like most newer and well most kpop groups rn. that relaxed vibe appeals to a mature audience and les is surprsing i thought it would have a niche older teen demographic
