The season 2 trailers are a bit flashier since they aren't setting up the "what happened to Arisu?" aspect.
icyruios bunnyviolet - since I think we're the only AK voters, have I missed anything?

centen we got 11 buyers so we can make both static and allkill badges
Now for static, I searched for posters and there is a slight problem. I made two versions

Their faces aren't clear at all.
I made a third badge with another poster and got this
What do you think?
YAY! I'm ready!
I don't think we need to put all of the characters in the static just because the AK will let us have some more flexibility, but I see what you mean about the quality of the posters hmm. It's kind of hard to tell what the badge is for unless you're just super familiar with the characters.
Are any of these better?
- Season 2 poster smash-up (thinking the one in the middle with Arisu and Usagi)
- Season 2 poster (pretty questionable, but just including all the options that actually have a person)
- Season 1 poster (maybe okay if the date is cut off from the bottom? I think that could be done without cutting off Usagi's head)
Searching around, the other posters I can find for stills are atmospheric without people, so I think this is what we have to work with.
Got to walk my dog real quick, but then I'll grab some videos and pull out scene references for the AK one!

It's been a while and I'm getting the official English translated versions in later in January (stupid manga publishers not anticipating that Netflix series will equal people wanting to read the damn thing), but I think the biggest thing that stands out right now is: covering all the face cards and the games that get decent screentime always have at least one member of what I'd consider the core characters. For example, the Jack of Hearts has no major players in the manga, but includes Chishiya in the show, so it's an opportunity to reveal something more about him as a character.
Oh and since this is about late in the season, tagging with spoilers:
I seriously thought they killed An off on the show, but when they let her live, that makes sense. She is not killed off in the manga; she doesn't participate in the King of Spades fight (I mean, no more than any of the other players are forced to). I actually think the King of Spades was made into a much bigger threat in the show, and I liked that change. In the manga, Aguni basically takes him out with a similar move to how he took out Nigari at the end of season 1, basically muscling through being shot (though the high schooler helps a bit). Like we get that Aguni's a badass, but giving him a team of people to care for both added a lot to his character and having multiple talented people struggle to take the King down made it clear that the King of Spades was seriously the biggest physical threat in the Borderlands. I kind of dislike the trope that a lot of manga falls into that you can win just through sheer force of will that allows you to power up in seconds and single-handedly overtake someone who is clearly well beyond your skills.

Why?
ThePhantomThief is answering insincerely. His list contains people he spent tons of akorns on to get LE badges for, lol. He doesn't mean it.

You're so funny, ily.
It uses the death game trope (like The Hunger Games, Ready or Not, or Squid Game). So our titular character Arisu ("Alice") gets transported to a world where he has to play deadly games -- where he will die if he doesn't play the game, but playing the game may also kill him. The twist AiB takes on the trope is that all of the games are themed after cards in a standard 52 card deck, where the number indicates the difficulty and the suit indicates the type of game. Spades are physical games, clubs require teamwork, hearts require you to understand other people, and diamonds are logic. So the series is watching him meet with other people who got transported to this land, and them working together to try to understand the land and how to get back home. Or if they even want to, dun dun dun!
I really love it. It treats characters very tactfully, like my profile picture is Kuina (spoiler for people who are very touchy about learning facts):
who is revealed to be transgender. In her flashback scenes that reveal her childhood and what led her to this point, although her father is MEAN, her mother embraces her after she comes out and says only "You look so beautiful." No one ever misgenders her or treats her gender like a joke. She's also a total badass who knows karate and grows into her confidence to be there for her friends.

I'm getting flashbacks to wanting one of these for another show, it being made, and then forgetting to get it altogether until I ran out of akorns
I got my akorns ready!
