I actually agree. Even though I slightly prefer TVXQ I will admit no other boy group has ever had as many male fans as BigBang. That alone puts them on another level. Nearly every single boy group since has named them as an inspiration. It shows they are beyond kpop. I've said before they are pretty much Epik High but on steroids.
G-Dragon alone has more stage presence in his pinky than most entire groups. Taeyang and T.O.P. are also out of this world when they get on the mic.

Itzy takes kpop by storm with Dalla Dalla, Icy, Wannabe, Not Shy. Then slowly music quality starts to decline and their position at the top starts to decline. Still popular but only supported by dedicated fanbase instead of general public.
NewJeans takes kpop by storm with Hype Boy, Ditto, OMG, Super Shy. Then slowly music quality starts to decline and their position at top is now starting to decline. Still extremely popular but could being to lose grip on public (at a slower pace than Itzy because they peaked higher) but will eventually be left with just the dedicated fandom.
Let's be real here Bugs Bunnies and Roger Rabbits. Their releases in 2024 have been underwhelming. If you're a NJ stan and you come in here and say their recent releases are in your top 5 or top 3 then you a liar cause you know damn well if these same 2024 songs were released by a group like TripleS or H1-Key then you would never return for a second listen. You might say yeah they were ok but that would be it. You would move on with your life.
Let this be a lesson for girl groups that you shouldn't be SHY in any capacity cause it led to the downfall of both Itzy and NJ.
