You might think this is one of my "hot" takes but it isn't a take of any sort.
This should be common sense for literally everyone that has the mental capability.
You're saying fatshaming is justified because he's a bad person is bad right?
So by that logic then technically the CEO being murdered is justified because he was responsible for the deaths of countless others..right??

Did you see the 25 women lined up outside the courthouse, because they were thirsty for Luigi? Or have you been on reddit in regards to this topic? Welcome to the internet.
I'm far from an expert on "Y2K teenage concept" but is that more like the 5th and 6th photo? They pretty normal and okay. It's photo 1-4 that have bit strange vibe to me.
Number 1 is a variation of the standard school uniform concept with y2k aesthetics.

It’s honestly hard to keep up with, so I don’t know what more people want.
BABYMONSTER has had an amazing year in terms of content, too. They already got four music videos for their latest album, one more MV on the way. Rami and Ahyeon were on Lee Mujin Service. Ahyeon and Pharita went on Begin Again Open Mic. The group went on that one variety show hosted by Jonathan. That’s just some of it. Tru-Multistan can elaborate on this.
I think people just see a YGE group or a Teddy-directed group and think “Ah, another YGE group stuck in the dungeon” and run with that narrative without actually checking out the content.
Or maybe we’re just getting lazy or losing interest when it comes to content.

I think my attention span is fried from watching too many short form videos. I can't even sit through tv shows without skipping it or putting it at 1.5x spd.
The new groups don't have as many active fan accounts. Usually, it takes time before one or two really good ones to pop up. Until then, it won't show up on shorts/reels through the algos, and a lot of people consume Kpop content through these short form fan account vids.
No problem. It is just hard, because there are certain words that describes a concept or it can change dependent on context.
This is what happened when MHJ talked about Minji when she was young. People don't have the cultural context as to what she was talking about.
Here is a good example. Soyeonfrom (G)-idle said this in an interview about idols debuting at such an early age. She said she had a slightly negative opinion on it, but she recently changed her mind.

'But recently, I've started to rethink things. It is a period when they are young and very pretty. It must be amazing that such moments could be captured(there is a record of it).'
Then later in the interview there was a question where the host asked, "Was there a concept you've always wanted to try that you weren't able to?"
She answered, 'When we debuted, we had a bit of a strong image. I wish we had done something more innocent. Something that would contain the feeling of youthfulness/freshness(풋풋함) that exists when we were young.'

This is my translation of it and the youtube subtitles are good too. I think both translations does the best to capture the intent behind the words being spoken, but it misses that last 10% that can't be translated. If done by MTL or someone not familiar with the context behind the words, her words can seem creepy and some would infer she is fetishizing youthfulness.
wait... did mhj actually say that? that would be funny
but yeah, i see your point, in the sense that it's childish and young looking I remember overdoing it when I first did makeup
There is a word called 풋풋하다. The direct translation is a bit off, but it is fresh/full of life. It is used to describe someone young. It is like a mixture describing youthful energy, innocence, cuteness, aesthetics and delicate nature of that time period. It isn't something that can be replicated when you are older.
When Kpop producers talk about the age where certain concepts can be explored, Westerners mistake them for being creeps, but they are talking about the age where idols possess 풋풋함.
i know that but how are newjeans threat to army? i share that opinion; army support is what made bts that it is today; army and bts made that company. army is in top5 world fandoms, their power is insane. nobody can be a threat to army. with or without hybe bts would do well, as long as army is with them sky is the limit.
what you talk about are company stans. i myself couldn't care less about hybe and their drama, never followed it, in fact, i don't even know what's happening.
To be specific, they think NJz are an extension of MHJ and Army hate MHJ for a variety of reason. The international fans think of MHJ as some evil mastermind that is trying to fracture and undermine BTS. When her KKT with the shaman leaked, MHJ went on Army's shit list. Her (supposedly) close relationship with V grinds their gear. Also, Jungkook sent a message out in support of NJz, yet they are trying to leave after being labeled BTS' sister group. Then there are some offshoot of Army that think all the negative mediaplay in regards to Suga was done by MHJ and all negative news are released when BTS solo members/LSRFM/ILLIT are releasing something new.
They view NJz/MHJ success as a byproduct of their association with BTS and the support of Hybe. NJz choosing to disassociate with Hybe in some twisted way means they are rejecting the 'help' that BTS gave to NJz. This is why they keep using the word 'ungrateful'.
I don't think it makes logical sense, but that's how a lot of international army feel. When have Kpop fans been logical? Don't think too deep on it.
I should clarify that there are two major groups of NJz haters.
If you go through reddit megathreads or anti-NJ account on twitter, it is majority Army commenting. These are the international fans.
On the Korean side, it is mainly older males that don't like NJs action. This group is split into two. There are the Kpop fans, who are LSRFM/Illit fans. Then there are the traditional/conservative males that are mainly on company side.
how exactly are NJ threat to army? I'm not on social media, have no idea what's happening there. This is a genuine question.
There is a pretty big subset of Army that equate BTS to Hybe or at the very least, they see Hybe as a company created through the hard work and success of BTS. They transferred their loyalty towards BTS to Hybe. In their minds, a threat to Hybe is a threat to BTS.
I seen a lot of videos on YouTube and their comments are just awfully negative calling them ungrateful backstabbers. That they're what they are bc of Hybe and they can't just walk away from a legally binding contract without having to pay hefty fine etc. They're pretty much convinced their career is dead. It's complete 180 from AKP. I tend to agree with them. I feel AKP is over confident.
The general public doesn't really care, so they won't comment on these videos. You are seeing a very selective subset of users, who are into Kpop. Who has the biggest fan base and likely to see NJs as a threat? Army.
