yg is hungry for a major breakthru with bp..

their partnership with interscope din actually produce any desired result!

Columbia artist..eg harry, adele,miley on the other hand performed xtremely well!!

Furthermore, bts was under columbia during dynamite and butter era...!

Yg is hopeful that they can replicate similiar success!

One of the reasons bts left is because bts are against payola and prefer fandom push and support!

Most columbia big artist all used payola eg, on radio and streaming platforms! Bts is their only artist that achieved huge success without such tactics!!

They made alot of $$ from bts albums distribution deals and digitals sales from dynamite, butter, ptd...etc

Wonder why interscope din sign treasure since its also bp us label...??

The discussion here is if jennie is getting the hype and spotlight no matter how little screentime or lines .... shouldnt her fans at least show support and hype it up by streaming ! U have to admit that streams are not good no matter how u spin it, this song being the most anticipated one! Not putting it on playlist means that weekend expects high returns from fandom streaming, which didnt happen!

the discussion here is not about availability of website store digitals or radio play.... but rather bcos skz was able to debut with 250k in bb200, which indicate that there should be sufficient no of fans to purchase from digital platforms like itunes, amazon..etc to help chart in hot 100, even without radio play.

Not necessary in top 50 but just any position in bottom half ....

Bubbling under at 19 is not an improvement cos they preciously charted at same position, when they debut lower ard 110k at bb200....

u cant blame people for comparing or quirying as to why skz s class not charting on hot 100....

In contrast, when bts 2019 mots persona debut with 200+k on bb200 , their single boy with luv debut at no 8 on hot 100!

Bts Be also debut 200+k on bb200, their single dynamite at no 1 hot 100 and every other b sides also debut at hot 100..

So skz almost 250k sales should logically chart right?

Where did all their album buyers go.... even if just 20% buy on digital platform... they should chart even without radio play...

they didn't promote as bts junior or next bts... strictly under koz, which i think is good. That way they wont be accused as clout chasing or bts wannabe!

And if they make it , it's purely on merit, i respect that!

billboard hot 100 ruling is... after 20 weeks on the chart, the song has to maintain top 50....

If not, the song leaves the chart even if it charts at 51.

That s why dynamite left the chart, not because it drop 70 position..!

Dynamite would have stayed for at least 10 more weeks just with airplay and streams alone...ya

17 needs to sell around 7m copies to bring in similiar amount in revenue as 3m copies of bts proof.

Proof is at around 3.5m in circle chart, so you do the math....

In terms of profit and $$$, bts is sitting pretty at the top!

Bts brought in usd 860m in revenue for hybe with just 1 album, no tour and half the year being on hiatus...

Hybe strategy for bts now is minimum output with maximum profit...

in conclusion,

Performance and stats in BB hot 100 and BB 200 charts are the most important where award shows like bbma and ama take these charts as criteria when nominating artist..

That's why till today no other kpop artist besides BTS since 2017 is nominated for any category in these award shows! ( beside best kpop)

Stats dont lie, top itunes, top spotify chart, top ytube streams meant nothing ...ya

Even if you count total spotify and ytube streams and itunes sales, bts still on top... by substantial margin!

Hybe should add bts mvs streams into bangtan channel, then blinks will have 1 less achievement to brag about!

No matter what past achievement blinks try to dig up, army will always counter them with better and higher ones! So just give up...k

JC didn't mention top us itune chart, he said album chart, which obviously means billboard 200 chart.

itune chart only count digital sales which can change every hour or every day! Whereas 200 chart only comes out every week.

An artist can top itunes chart the whole week but still cant top 200 album chart after the week ends!!

Which was the case in kill this love or The Album if i'm not mistaken!!

So no , it's totally different and itune chart is hardly relevent!!
