i mean there’ve been plenty cases of nugu songs blowing up and going viral internationally so it’s not that unimaginable or unprecedented. just in recent years we’ve had bboom bboom, rollin, after school, and who can forget gangnam style blowing past the kpop sphere and penetrating every corner of the world for awhile as a viral meme. the thing is most of the times these viral phenoms will turn out to be the artist’s one hit wonder, and it doesn’t only apply to kpop but every other music genre. sustaining interest after the viral hit is the difficult to navigate part. going viral in itself isn’t a novel feat
Tbf giving mannequins is the default of pretty much 99% of kpop idols’ editorial photoshoots lol very few of them switch it up or actually know how to model above that baseline level
