feeling conflicted.
the girls clearly love that woman and want to stay with her but she’s just not a decent person that i morally align with at all.
a few things she has done just doesn’t sit right with me at all.
her picking out members for the group based on what her shaman thinks and how “obedient” they will be to her, badmouthing, swearing, insulting and straight up bodyshaming the girls behind their backs.
running her mouth mindlessly in her stupid press conferences, dragging other female idols into her beef and getting the girls hate constantly with her careless actions.
emotionally manipulating the girls by sharing private moments with them to gain sympathy from the general public.
attaching herself to the group’s image like a leech and acting as if she’s directly a member of the group, especially with the merch and fan art which is so unusual and highly egotistical for a ceo.
also korean feminists have rightfully turned against her regarding the sexual harassment case against a female employee that she allegedly covered up.
she overall comes off as a very manipulative and mean spirited person.
i’m not saying the bang pd or any hybe employees are better than her because the reality is we don’t know what they’re like behind the scenes.
but all that has come to light has painted a very unfavorable image of min heejin and i think for the group it’s best to lay low and not heavily associate with her.
Oh come on. I agree with everything you said, but I still think Bang PD is way worse. In general, the whole Juicy Sejeon thing shows that he seems to be into women looking similar to her (Skinny, pale, big eyes, YOUNG LOOKING, and YOUNG) and that's basically all female idols in HYBE. Honestly, they're better of with MHJ. BUT it also doesnt make sense because HYBE is literally the biggest company out there, while MHJ just has the perfect creative vision for them, but we just dont know how many resources she has. Definitely not enough Money.
Maybe she's going back to SM with them, who knows. -

I do understand that these fanfics are more accepted, but there are still plenty of people like myself who are against such fanfics. I agree that there isn't outrage for it, though.
The difference is that, while still gross and dehumanizing, it is just writing. Deepfakes can be way too realistic and uses the actual face of an idol on a moving body that we can visibly see doing explicit acts.
Neither are okay. But one is a lot more personal and intense, in my opinion.
Honestly, I kinda disagree to a certain extent. I think fanfics are different. I used to read K-Pop fanfics when I was younger, nowadays I only read ones with actualy OCs of people or Movie and TV characters. But Deepfaces are different than that. Someone literally uses a picture of you and turns it into a n*de.
