I think mamamoo made it without their company. They even created their own choreos because their comapny couldn't pay a choreographer (I am sceptical tho - it could also only be said by the company so that people feel pity)

Mozart held his first own concert with 7 years. He is clearly highly intelligent. Tho, I have to agree. But he would've been famous anyways, his talent just would've showed when he got older. He is one of my favourite artists by the way

Maybe not all. Like the groups i mentioned still exist and im only into kpop because Brave Girls. But yeah i get what you mean. All the mainstream is like you said.
Only a few groups get popular without their company pushing them to much

They get mad about minors debuting and then support them more than any other group where all are adults. Backlash isnt real backlash when there isnt any sabotage, its just empty words. As long as fans keep buying and going crazy about minors, the more minors we will keep seeing in the industry. That's a fact. How tf u expect kpop companies to stop debuting minors when u keep buying their stuff?
When kpop started, the concept selling the best was sexy because of men and fanboys. AND ITS STILL THE SAME. There are a lot of people outside there who are grown adult men enjoying young girls dancing in mini skirts. this is also the reason idols are on these strict diets. the less curvy they are, the more child-like they appear

I know there are a couple of idols that did debut older. I don't know of any with a (public) family and kid. I would be wild if we found out one was hiding a family the whole time tho!
I am pretty sure 75% of Idols date secretly/are married secretly/have a family secretly. The thing is, they never denied it so no, it's not a crime

Yeah without the company they would probably do as many other good groups with good music. Similar to tripples, fiftyfifty, wo!ah! or h1-key.
100% agree. K-Pop is all about management and money

I'm pretty sure every idols that debut, or ones that are doing very well for that matter, started to train with a clear senses of what they like. You'll endlessly hear how idols, when they were a little kid, are inspired after watching idols before them. They knew what they want. Some find success. Others failed and choose another path. Both parties have something in common. They want to be celebrity and they know it.
Yea, of course EVERYTHING idols say is 100% percent true and they DO NOT AT ALL lie about their lives. This is so hilarious. Most of the Idols are FORCED by their PARENTS to be famous. You don't seem to know anything about korea at all. Do you really think a child would decide to work 24/7 for themselves? Like, why would someone starve their self, get plastic surgery done and stay awake training until midnight, get barely sleep... A child would NEVER do that just to sing on TV. They get pushed by their parents into that Idol life without even wanting it. For example. There is a Girl called Haeun (Not Lapillus) who appeared on some show (I cant remember the name but Chaeryeong and Chaeyon appeared on that show too; it's a show with JYP) when she was 3 years old and recently signed a contract with SM to be a trainee. Do you really think a 3 YEAR OLD CHILD would want to be an IDOL and decide to be one ON THEIR OWN??? K-Pop stans are so hilarious, you really believe everything your Idols tell you, don't you.

I think y'all are over exaggerating. Emojis don't reveal anything about someone's personality. Please don't try to find out about Idols "Real personalities" because we will never find out about them.

Not a surprise. 90% of success is sns work. Kpop is simple.
I support NWJNS myself tho and the reasons I like them are their music and their management (How the company portraits them). Both of these things are in the hands of Ador so you see that K-Pop is all about management and NewJeans success is not their success but Adors.

No, I only listen to their music. I would call myself a listener

I hate crop tops because they make me feel uncomfortable. And it's very weird to see them on Men. A big no for me

It was never NJ's songs that bothered me. Cookie and Hurt are boring and Ditto is terrible, but the other three singles have their good points esp OMG.
But what struck fear and anger into my heart was their success and their potential to ignite a cultural reset which is already well underway. If they had kept their boring and generic elements to themselves, i would have no problem with them.
But now, we're starting to see copycat songs coming out, and not from rando groups and soloists but from acts that i LOVE. Yena's Love War and Twice's Moonblight are borderline unlistenable, they're even WORSE than Ditto. Yena and Twice went from SOTY contenders like Smartphone and Scientist to this.
This was my great fear. This is why i've been ranting nonstop about them for five months now.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO END NEW JEANS ASAP and Make Kpop Great Again. Or at the very least, force them to change their sound up so it sounds like real Kpop.
WTF is your problem??? FINALLY K-Pop doesn't sound plain and boring anymore and if Yena and Twice flopped for one Comeback, that doesnt mean that they will flop completely (In my opinion, MOONLIGHT SUNRISE and LOVE WAR where really good). Also, Ditto is such a great song, it's so beautiful and haunting, just because it's not some loud girlcrush or cute song, you don't have to hate on it. Compared to other groups, NWJNS has a real CONCEPT and LORE.
