Even if they have that power, no one's touring as much as bp is doing right now. Plus it's not like new ggs can straight off the bat tour and match bp's touring like they can possibly do with music releases in the future. The progression is rather slow and requires confirmation of selling out venues to move on to bigger venues. That takes the whole shelf life of a gg to get to that point. Even when they get to that point, are they really gonna do 60 dates like blackpink? i really doubt it. Can't see anyone doing it in the next 5 years. After that, idk i'm no fortune teller.

But that's at the start of careers. Newjeans spotify stats don't surprise me because their youtube views are very low. Not just low because of not having ads. But actual low which u can identify with comments and likes of music videos. Ratio of youtube to spotify has been decreasing every year but they have taken it to the next level(no pun intended) by making those "yt mass streaming" fans not do the usual yt streaming and instead set up streaming farms for spotify instead. Both the hybe fans and company have accelerated their success by understanding what platform to focus. Sometimes i feel like yg, jyp and sm are just run by old people because they cannot understand the trends at all. These companies are too uptight about their brand of music for all their acts and thus lacking diversity it's laughable really.

July? it's august dude. they are attending the vmas. my only wish is that the release be in feb or april instead of august so they can have a longer campaign for a grammy nom in 2024. They have tried august twice and failed so i don't want them to do august again. It's become clear that august is too late so that's why i don't like jisoo solo in feb.

why are u so sure they are moving? why would jisoo get a solo in yg if she is moving to blacklabel? better to do it in blacklabel. Why is jennie performing her new song you and me in concerts when she is still under yg? it doesn't add up. yg will want to atleast keep one bp member in the main building to retain the brand for themselves. i don't think the move is for the whole group is likely.
