And now there are people blaming newjeans for the trend of minors debuting as if it hasn't been happening for years before they debuted. I just wish people would admit there was a double standard when it came to newjeans and their fans.

Like I really wouldn't care about this if people weren't trying to rewrite history and drag newjeans into their mess. Tokkis have had to go through shit, baemon stans need to fight their own battles and leave newjeans out of it.

Each time a gg has a hit their views go to to the audio video but the the MV one too, specially if it's popular in sea. Lsfrm is a good example as they still have 1m days per day + 1m streams

my 2 cents. snsd messed up real bad. they kicked jessica out to keep the group going longer only for tiffany, seohyun and sooyoung leaving for reasons like scandals or lack of attention from sm. It must have been awkward for taeyeon. Jessica was just ahead of her peers. 7 years is more than enough in a kpop group.

Don’t be naive. It was because of BTS and armys effort, making numerous requests at retail stores all over and finally getting BTS album (love yourself Tear), which was the first ever kpop album to be stocked in Target. The rest is history. Now you find your favorite kpop albums actually available in US stores

ofc they are not disbanding. Idk about EP this summer but I'm being a clown thinking there is a surprise in February. A big one. Born pink era officially ends in Feb 10 with vinyl release from interscope. Plus i don't think jisoo is ready for solo because she's still in beginning stages and yg is not the type to rush releases like that. no mv filmed means physical album production is also far from complete which takes time along with recording of album which was reported to be not completed yet. Idk we will see. I think she will be ready to unveil it in coachella and do some korean promo using coachella experience because i just think it'd be weird for jisoo to just release a solo and dip like lisa. There is gap between april 22 and may 13 which could be exploited. We'll see we'll see just thinking a lot about the schedule.

I think bp has peaked physically not because they can't hit 3m preorders(they might) but because i don't see them doing a full album anytime soon. I have seen article from yg saying that blackpink will be the first gg to sell 3 million with bornpink when it has barely hit 2.6 million. That's a giveaway imo that a third album is not in any immediate plans.

They will have 1B streamed song with How you like that in 2 years anyway. But do you think new jeans/ive won't have one or two? lol.

YT, i'm sure about it today more than ever because twice experienced a decrease too. If my assumption is correct, their spotify will be better than before. We are seeing a change that's all. It's not really a bad thing.

So yeah, only their yt and touring stats will be untouchable.

Blackpink has definetely hit their peak on youtube with pink venom and album sales peak with born pink. But the good thing is the ball is in blackpink's court now and it's not over yet digitally. If they don't release an album soon, they will stop being called the no.1 gg in under a year. They can either become the female version of bigbang or be forgotten like snsd. It's their choice now whether they want to stop all activity or continue to release.

Ofcourse the money is good now but an increase in album sales shouldn't drastically change anything. So why is that? If u haven't realised already, kpop is a huge cultural export controlled by the goverment. Big companies are now basically forced to focus outside korea rather than spending time to make their mark in korea and creating these "it girls". That's for small companies like starship and others. This is the biggest change i've seen from 3rd gen to 4th gen. One year in korea and then that's it one has to join the hallyu wave. Before, only the biggest groups were sent but now all big company groups need to move out and capture a "bigger market" out there and improve korea's position in the world. And also Why do you think blackpink went to riyadh? it's political.

The born pink album has 3 standard versions with 2 limited edition kit and vinyl whereas seventeen has 5 standard versions and let's not even count photocards now . do u know what limited edition for bp means? yeah that's like 50-60k produced each.. Moving on to member versions seventeen has 9 members more than bp. That's a whole "twice" there. So my advice to you, don't discard ur reasoning for groups u don't like. seventeen has an extra 10 versions than bp. i'm not sure what a weverse edition for hybe groups that's on gaon but u know that right? u weirdo
