Not catchy enough to be a Twice title track. Probably will end up 1/2 places higher in my list but currently just disappointed that we've had back to back Korean title tracks that are incredibly underwhelming. A year of releases and I'll probably watch a grand total of 3/4 performances combined for them. They don't even feel like comebacks at that point if all you're doing is giving some b-sides on spotify a listen like you would any other artist.
I genuinely see it very much in league with Scientist, with both having short choruses that don't do enough hook you. The second half of the chorus completely saps the energy out as well which the pre-chorus does well to build up to and the start of the chorus semi-delivers. There's nothing about the song that makes me want to go back to it - no iconic rap like you get in Likey and What is Love, not the infectious beat or catchy hook of Fancy, not the smooth melodies of Alcohol Free or Yes or Yes.
I don't really get what some people see in the song to praise it like it's a classic Twice track with a mature twist because for me it's really not. None of the elements of what made Twice title tracks electric to me are present in the song outside of maybe the melodic pre-chorus.
I'm happy it's not a Scientist for a lot of fans but I'm also disappointed that it looks like they want to stick to this cute/sexy concept if we go off Scientist and now TTT. I don't thin it works on a personal level and even looking at it more pragmatically I don't think it does anything for the group.
