Reddit hybe stans seems to enjoy their christmas present
I saw this too. It proves the TAG use bots on reddit once again. The thread had more activity then the
SBS Gayo Daejeon threads on Reddit. Even twitter and theqoo took a day off NJs hate for that but not Reddit. Ever since TAG brags about Reddit this thread proves it on a silver platter. Just look at the thread comments it actually 50/50 in terms of positive/negative comments, however all the anti Minji posts are at the top with upvotes but scroll down to see all the downvoted ones. The biggest example is the replies to the top rated comment it has 11 replies 3 anti Minji posts with loads of upvotes and 8 pro Minji all downvoted, you even had some Army saying guys lets not do this getting downvoted.

This New York Times article should be required reading for everyone who has invested time and energy in the HYBE/MHJ war over the last 8 months.
https://www.nytimes.com/2024/1…e=1.jE4.WU8V.i4jbnTtNxUt-
As you read through it, continue to ask yourself if you see any parallels between how Blake Lively was attacked and how Min Heejin was attacked.
And then examine the common thread that is the fact HYBE owns TAG PR, the firm behind the exposed character assassination via social media engineering.
"We are crushing it on Reddit," Mr.Wallace told Ms.Nathan, according to a text she sent Ms.Abel on Aug.9
Well it was obvious beforehand but nice to have it confirmed. Having a look in to the megathread on reddit has been a fun read. Sure most places on the internet depending what site it is, is on one side but you get some push back but on kpop, thoughts and uncensored its so one sided. I've never seen Reddit that bad its like 99% in Hybes favour not even theqoo is like that. It had to be PR/bots and we know it is now.

It's because NJ threads are the main big things this year so it's hard to avoid it? And the reason I feel to comment in the threads is also because you often attack people in the threads, directly or indireclty. As in this thread, you can't just state your opnions and view but have to call people names and stuff all the time. If you are less agressive and don't attack othters I would not feel the same urge to respont to all your post.
And I don't hate NJ, but
1. Yes, I don't like their music. But I have also said that can change if they change concepts.
2. Yes, I think their vocals and skills are pretty average
3. I don't think they have been "misstreatet" by Hybe as all NJ fans thinks.
4. I don't think it will be easy for them just to break away from Ador without some kind of settlement.
And for you information I "waste" a lot more life on games then NJ threads if that is important for you.
I mean it really isn't hard. There is 1000s of users on here and most don't click on it. I agree with 99% with Yama on a lot this but I admit might have crossed a line or 2 deserves a warning in this but please get off that moral high ground for a min you have laughed a sexual jokes at minors, spread misinformation and called people names.

Damn ya’ll really love to lash out and go low on people who literally just have an opinion huh?
Ya’ll seem like mentally socially deranged awkward losers whose lives revolve around obsessing over kpop and getting off to having a internet reputation. Good fucking god. Go outside, get some sun, and touch some grass.
No wonder this forum is going into shits.
Deranged awkward losers eh? Well debating with others or trying to get your point across and not insulting people might be a good place to start.

I of cource understand fans are biased and support their group, I do that too. Uut I don't like people that are 100 % biased and never can admit faults in their own Idols. This hate against Hybe is just silly when they have not done much wrong at all. And even if they are 100 % for NJ they should not contantly attacking and being rude against people that have different views.
So you don't like yourself?
Sorry but to suggest Hybe haven't done much wrong at all is worst line anyone could say. Even hardcore Army wouldn't admit that.

Hard time for reddit
There post has a lot of stupid comments but this one below might be the best one.
QuoteImagine posting this not understand what the word objectively means and saying people are trying to gaslight while writing a post so factually wrong.

HYBE, I truly have to give you a standing ovation for this one. I am completely blown away by your consistent inability to make a public statement that doesn't contradict the fundamental reasons for why NewJeans is walking out the door and letting everyone know how sweet it tastes.
Your leader, that narcissistic face blind clout chaser, BSH, has accused MHJ of corporate sabotage, insubordination and called her EVIL, but you're somehow open to someone you've filed A CRIMINAL CASE AGAINST serving as a producer?
Make it make sense, HYBE. If MHJ was guilty of everything you claimed in April, and it wasn't all just a bunch of smoke and mirrors to force out a dissenting voice who wouldn't submit to your toxic culture and allow you to steal her work, you would NEVER make any concessions.
HYBE really look like that desperate toxic ex, refusing to let go of a relationship THEY sabotaged.
Let it go, HYBE. At least have some dignity at the end
Yeah the whole 26page doc doesn't really stand up.
The Source music video leak is worse imo. These 2 lines from the doc "were not the ones who posted or distributed these videos" and "that we are making every effort to resolve the issue of these videos, photos, and other information being exposed to the public without authorization." Look Dispatch got it from somewhere they either stole it or got it given to them by Hybe as they own it. If Dispatch stole it or got an inside leak without Hybe;s knowledge then regardless of the members Hybe and Ador should act on that the moment it was put up, they didn't fully outside of Youtube. So either they didn't care to get them taken down fully on social and the Dispatch site or leak it themselves. Ador made Hybe aware about the leak on 23rd July only on November 19th did they ask Dispatch how they got it the NJs lawyer will have a field day with that one.

This is the last verbal warning for everybody.
I will start issuing WP's for it.
I was being nice because I honestly feel for NJ, but please also hold yourselves accountable.
I back this, the past 2 weeks has been messy. I hate to sound like the forum police but many threads being made, I would even add the Rose comments thread to this one.

Public opinion doesn't matter. Legal opinion does. I'd rather not have public opinion and be in debt for 20yrs owing some shitty agency my IP rights and the next 20yrs of paychecks. Violating contract to get a early termination has a hefty fee especially entertainment industry contracts it likely will cost them hundreds of thousands of dollars or millions. And I highly doubt these members have that kind of money yet to afford it
I mean when it comes to the court case against Hybe yeah it won't matter but if they lose as in they can leave but have to pay the debt off, public opinion absolutely matters. Biggest GP in korean, they still have a major fanbase and if the can move to another company, the company don't have to pay that debt it's an easy win even if they have to change the name. I actually think outside of maybe JYP cause they have a relationship with Hybe I think most companies would absolutely risk signing them. Even if that doesn't happen and it might be tough to find a company as Epyon-556 said if the old 50/50 can find a company NewJeans even under a new name will have no issues.

My signature makes nobody dislike anyone but perhaps me lmao
Sorry but you'll learn that, nobody actually needs a reason to dislike anyone. I was hated by someone I barely even spoke to because I was showing results. I was shocked when a little birdie told me I was disliked?? People will dislike you simply because you are dulling their shine. And especially in K-pop it is a very competitive environment so people already disliked BTS for taking the spotlight lmao.
Why do you think kpop stans can't WAIT for them to disband? I'm not out their wishing disbandment on their faves but look at them lmao.
They dont need my signature to throw a stone.
Also a little tit for tat,
a lot of the phrases army use now were used against them so you cannot say it's because army mention paving the way that people started hating BTS. It wasn't the start at all.
The paving the way debate did not start from army.
2nd gen stans were the first ones to use "paving the way" because they were trying to force BTS and the fandom to acknowledge 2nd gen.
"BTS wouldn't have achieved this if not for BOA, Rain,Psy" was their argument. It was to discredit BTS achievements.
I remember there was an ARMY chart account that made a simple mistake in their title on twitter and they were bombarded with replies saying how armys do not respect 2nd gen when 2nd gen is the reason bts is popular.
It was the classic case of K-pop Stan's trying to insert themselves, taking credit for bts' small (at the time) achievements.
Even when army's told them 2nd gen groups and their respective companies admitted to failure in cracking the western world.
But BTS did it.
They continued their debate on how much 2nd gen influenced BTS rise in the US. They started to use Psy in their arguments. Because BTS had surpassed their faves early on the album charts. All that was left was the hot 100.
Then Psy came out and explained that while he achieved success, his success was short lived and that it is different from what BTS is doing i.e actually building a fanbase.
Now, bts' success has made it easier for the K-pop industry to perform in western countries so you can see how the ball has rolled into the park of ARMYs aye?
Sorry but I can't get past the "Sorry but you'll learn that". Don't talk to people that way it's rude, the arrogance to down to people that way. I understand your signature fully now.
And yes I know that signature is from you that is the point I was making. You're not the only one to share this opinion. Im sorry dont think saying "but while watching other groups makes me think anyone can become an idol' is disrespectful to other groups and make them want to come after you and your favs I got bad news for you.
As for the rest I don't care who started the paved the way stuff but I know how it's used by many. You say it was started here I've posts say it was by Army to counter Big Bangs comeback which started the whole Army vs 2nd gen stuff. Both sides can point fingers on that one.
Look I said in my post BTS are one of if not the main reason kpop is as popular in the west. You don't need to go in to that.
-
Im not an Army but to suggest they're not one of the biggest music acts in the world is weird, they clearly are. They also helped kpop become more mainstream to suggest they didn't is also not true. They sold out Wembley that is beyond impressive, I went to that show it was phenomenal.
That being said OP your signature is exactly why kpop fans have grown to dislike the boys and the fanbase. You can praise BTS and not put down other groups which is why people hate the paved the way stuff its mainly used as a counter to other groups.
-
Yeah it's interesting isn't it, kpopthoughts and kpopuncensored both have threads and are largely negative against Hybe. However that main r/kpop sub megathread is still hanging on to Hybe.
-
Great observation, they usually always had so much to say when it was a YG or SM group who were involved in a controversy. So many of them acted holier than thou and were the first to judge and literally were also one of the first to update on negative news when it was about other idols who did mistakes (mostly just to weaponize it for fanwars)… now they went mia…
Their hostility on this site has also drove many users away as well … like the guilds are literally dead! You couldn’t celebrate your faves achievements without one of them feeling the need to tell us it’s somehow contributed to BTS.
I know many Armys are not like that and I can understand how it feels when your fandom constantly gets called out, but the reality is many fandoms felt victimized by them or at least felt like their faves were…
On twitter NJ is currently their new nemesis and especially here, I do not understand why they are so invested in this. This isn’t even remotely or slightly about BTS, but they more invested than Illit or LSFM fans.
I issue I have is the lack of accountability yes most are good dare I say 95% are great but that 5% just makes kpop less fun. You always get the well every fanbase is like this but I think even the good ones don't get just how big that 5% is. The Army is only really behind Taylor Swift in fans of an entertainer so 5% is still 100 of thousands of fans. It might been Yama in one of the mega threads posted a list of all the fanbases gone to 'war' with Army in the last 10 years, its from Big Bang fans to Exo fans to Blinks to Bunnies and many more. I remember 2 years ago maybe when Big Bang made that sort of comeback/final song it was the biggest song in Korea that year, this forum had a post and well sure you can guess what happened. We can't celebrate a legendary group like Big Bang without this nonsense.
-
I think the issue is the mocking of her accent, which is a bit racist. Im all for jokes like yeah make fun of the picture bit like they did with Bang PD weeks ago. But mocking her accent isn't great, Im sure they got in trouble not so long ago for mocking another asian accent as well.

every kpop subreddits:
It's been so toxic, I didn't think it could get worse, the bar keeps on lowering. They spent a lot of the megathread talking down the main r/korea sub about the fact they have post being critical of Hybe saying its all with misinformation which is ironic because of half that thread is screenshots of sniper21.
This below is the most recent post from the megathread. Even though she is from another country, clearly nervous Hanni getting a name wrong shows she is a bad person. Post like this are insane and somehow the replies are worse.
QuoteHanni forgetting or mispronouncing Kim Joo-Young’s name, whether intentional or not, tells me a lot about her character. Her exaggerated reaction- panicking, waving her arms, and apologising in a frightened tone for such a minor mistake is giving victim mindset, especially in this context. She doesn’t care enough to get it right and it can be quite insulting to the person. It feels as though she was trying to create a specific impression, maybe making Kim Joo-Young appear intimidating or unapproachable, possibly to support her claims.

mhj name drop those ggs names, she throw them to the sharks without any remorse bc a report even ask her if she didnt feel anything about the hate this was bringing to illit and lsfrm
nj side with her, so they side with that too
decide if they are brainwashed kids or adults with a choice, bc they can't be both
The post you replied to isn't about the hate either side is getting on a whole or who named dropped who first. It's about the manager being rude to NJs incident which I'll repeat at no point does Hanni or even MHJ say so the group in this incident is.
As for the "they side with her too" crap, sorry no that is not how that works. Just because they want her back as ceo doesn't mean they agree with everything she says or does. The fact some think just because NJs want her back or side with her against Hybe they approve the hate those groups get is nonsense.
