Fun fact, the producers of this (Cosmo's Midnight) also produced Fly To My Room by none other than BTS -
You forgot to add the obligatory chest thumping Twitter link

gosh! I'm in love with the instrumental. How is that possible?
My guess is that Jersey Club is primarily instrumental music - it's a dance genre after all. And the genre is known for frequent switch-ups so it's pure ear candy and you wouldn't get bored of it as quickly as say, techno or house (no shade to either genre)
Interesting to see how NewJeans make it into a vocal pop songIt's also weirdly nostalgic to hear Jersey Club even though it's only been like 6 years since I first got into it lol

Called it yewwwwwww

They teased it in the "we are newjeans" video. I think it's near the end
Dang you're probably right! Oooooh, this is bouncy, it reminds of like a Jersey Club breakdown, or like something Lido would produce, like:

I really hope it is indeed this track (I mean, it's already got backing vocals in) -
I'm loving the instrumental of cookie so far, so hopefully it doesn't disappoint
Where'd you find the instrumental?
-
Calico cause it's just so damn smoooooooooooth

DPR never disappoint

I can hear lots of distortion on the voice but not much autotune, and I like it because it lets the voice blend in with the crispy guitars

I was today year's old when I realised that IVE's eleven had a direct reference/interpolation to SNSD's Genie (both aurally and visually in the MV)

I’m not surprised that they appeal to a wide audience
Their music/videos have all the fun and color of kpop without any of the cringy elements of kpop
Only mildly relevant but it's wild to me that the unfamiliar would categorise "Attention" and "Jopping" as being the of same genre
Also to be clear I think they are both excellent songs for different reasons
