98 days at #1 with the pre release
#2 and #3 are also still them during the same time period, I'm sure someone can do the math

Are they singing about "90's kitsch", or "nineteen's kitsch"
Huge bop, I want this straight into my veins
would i trade that for this Pink Rei? Time will tell
i miss blonde/silver Gaeul
crazy bop
I actually don't mind the autotune, and don't think it's overwhelming at all WITH THE EXCEPTION of the second rap verse. But I really love the chorus and pre-chorus! It's anthemic, and builds really well, imo! Plus the visuals and dancing........out of this fucking WORLD, as expected.
2nd verse is my favourite part, the autotune sounds like it's the only thing tethering Jimin's voice to reality, it's wild
NewJeans getting more comfortable in their variety content!

honestly possibly my favourite song from either artist
I always think of P Nation whenever someone mentions idols breaking off and starting their own labels
Display Morei mean in his defense, did he really take a L??
cuz when u think about it, he pretty much showed HYBE power by going against a company as Big as KAKAO, which not other music labels are even able to do.
not only that, but him not acquiring SM isn't a big deal.
even now as we speak, HYBE still the #1 kpop company in the industry, with a market cap in the Billions, and having multiple successful kpop Artists and American Artists under the HYBE umbrella.
so idk why people think HYBE is a flop company cuz of this situation.
and they aren't that much in debt like people make it seem lol.
do u know who ur replying to lol
Yes but Blackpink streams in the US in general is not that good. Newjeans also sings in Korean, no collab and already last longer on Spotify US than Blackpink. OMG lasts longer than Money on Billboard 100 when Money is in full English.

that's because MHJ sacrifices children on an altar marked with the Spotify logo to summon the archdemon named Payola
You know the old saying, "You can't judge an NMIXX song by a snippet"
But it sounds like Young Dumb Stupid is by far the worst song on the album
the kpop machine may fade away, but the songs will remain for me
life goes on b
May 2023 is the new August 2022
Display MoreYou are wrong.
The target for luxury brands is Asian markets where youth is highly valued. The younger you are the more you’re loved. You can see it all across Chinese and Korean entertainment.
New Jeans is not trying to appeal to middle aged Americans or Europeans, they’re appealing to the BIGGEST growth opportunities for luxury brands in East Asia.
I assure y’all you are not smarter than these brands that invest a shit tonne in marketing.
this. Gucci, Prada, LV are borderline street/casual wear for young people in Seoul. It’s not that they’re richer than American youths, it’s that their budget prioritises luxury goods
So brands don’t even need to sell that much product. They just need awareness and relatability with the youth
Then again, who are we to dictate how a massive French brand spends their hard earned cash
