I also don’t want to derail this thread further but it is obvious from the JITB documentary that Hobi was 100% in control of JITB plans and activities - like down to the food they served at his listening party to him checking the chemistry of back-up dancers at Hobiplalooza. The man was sooooooo stressed - he had trouble sleeping and eating! He said many times that he put this burden on himself — to achieved this passion project for self growth as an artist. Sure his plans may not be to some fans expectations but he was not a victim. It is so odd to disrespect the artist you claim to love by ignoring what he himself has said, planned, and implemented. Also- if Hobi considers JITB a success as it is, why is this not enough for some fans?

Well with Jin and RM they only had two weeks delay and everything else was ok, no? So that's why I didn't mention them.

JITB was treated so much different from other members releases I don't know how people can't see it or claim it what he wanted.

"being the first member to release" bh is not a new company that was created yesterday. They know what to do. They have been doing BTS releases for how long? And solo release is not any different then group one. So this excuse doesn't make any sense to me.

You don't need to wait for anything. Just look at his portfolio release. It was different from other members and a mess. So by this point it's a pattern of behavior from bh.

With how hybe/bh have been treating Hoseok, I don't know why he would want to renew.

I mean, even his portfolio release was a mess...

hybe don't even treat artists under them well, so don't expect anything good for sm artists either.

lol So suddenly they know how to do everything right when it's maknae line release. Meanwhile Hoseok's album still has no distribution...

Even freaking LY album is available at target but JITB is not. What is the reason? It's like they don't want him to sell well. It doesn't make any sense otherwise.

Jin never said that. He said Hoseok didn't have an album. Nothing about it being his decision. There are plenty of articles with hybe/bh patting themself on the back for caring about environment sooooo much and getting ESG kudoses.
