I was never a pre-debut stan but usually there was one member of the group that caught my attention. After their debut I became a fan or ended up just checking the activities of that one member

I want to know who's responsible for the chorus dance?

yeah that's incredibly problematic, but then again, what can we do about it? look at Jiwoo, Liz, Ryujin before, Giselle, NingNing and even Karina. they are not overweight at all, but are STILL dragged for their 'thicker' thighs, their stomach, face shape and even their arms? literally every detail. we are at the moment when idols want to starve themselves and lose weight. however, you definitely don't see excessively skinny idols that often and there are more idols with visible shapes. it's getting better but that's definitely a cultural issue. korea is such a shitty country in terms of appearance and the whole beauty standars thingy. this situation with Ryujin is really..she has no energy and she looks weak too. Wonyoung is on the verge, I feel that something bad will happen to her one day on stage. She also had problems with her hair..but I believe that she is not starving herself, she is just young and stressed. that's the effect of it.

relying on youtube doesn't make sense, even armys haven't achieved their goals. today mys were tearing their hair out of their heads, because from almost 8 million, the numbers suddenly dropped to 7.5m. they were losing from 200k to 600k, the views were frozen, in 3 minutes increase 500k views from nowhere and then drop again. youtube changed the rules and it's not easy, I'm really curious what it will look like with blackpink.
then we have spotify, mys are just lazy, they can get good numbers on the first day of mass streaming but then they drop to 500k a day.
I just have the impression that the current generation does not pay much attention to streaming, but fans buy albums for pcs, posters, fun etc. currently, impact in social media counts and it does not necessarily have to be youtube views. aespa is doing really well, their fans just have a life beyond k-pop, but that doesn't mean they don't support them at all. leave them alone, they had no empty seats, many people want to see them even outside korea, china and japan (400k fans for their showcase). just accept that they are successful and stop sticking to the older generations, everything has changed. neither groups nor fans move in the same way anymore.

the worst part is that although everyone saw this guy's weird behavior, no one helped me. there was a boy behind me, rubbing and touching me. I was afraid to get off the bus because I knew he could follow me. I was only 15 but I looked older so I told myself that it was normal: no one reacted because they thought we were a couple. I had to deal with it myself and I never told anyone about it. there were more such situations as I matured and none of these people ever suffered the consequences so I learned to defend myself and others around me.

Asking if ningning have potential to become popular among international audiences is not set up. she may or maynot reach bts/bp members individually popularity but it all depends on their group popularity and how her company utilize her. But in my opinion she is best one among many other 4th gen idols.
I don't think comparing her to such big names is good for her, it's like provoking the fandoms to drag her.

NCT members = spotify listeners, viral tik toks, global exposure, reaching young people and more. pushing in any industry involves putting a lesser-known person alongside larger and influential names. in this case, Giselle was in the best position, this one activity was worth more than the activities of the other members.

yeah they have one chance and if they go in the same direction with the group's sound then there is a possibility

it’s time to cut them off

We live in a time when idols don't really need help and push from the company to become popular as long as they are treated well by stylists, get lines in songs and are entertaining. It's up to them to go viral or not. I see topics about activities and pushing by the company all the time but the only real push anyone got in aespa was Giselle with NCT collab. They all have potential but the company simply isn't taking advantage of it..like do you think Karina and Winter are in their peak? Of course not.
+ blackpink and bts are exceptions, why would you want to set up this girl so much..

their comeback next week so we'll see but as long as words like "kwangya" and "naevis" appear in their songs, I don't think so..

honestly, I've never seen a well-balanced group like Le Sserafim, I think they probably have the best chemistry in k-pop. no one is under the "stand out" category, each member has their own moment and you can definitely see that they all have the same job on stage to embody the word "fearless". no one is trying to stand out, put in more strength or make any extra moves. they are just very in sync and it takes a lot of work.
