That's amazing that you have that store as a local option, I'm going to visit Music Plaza this Summer with my wife. Sounds like an amazing place. Went to Amoeba Records in Berkeley a few weeks back. Didn't even think to look for kpop titles.

Yep music plaza is great! Try to go on a weekday since weekends are always jam packed or go right when they open! I used to love going to Amoeba Records in Hollywood to relax, sadly that location closed down

I am so sorry to hear, sending my condolences. I’m not even sure how to process this news…honestly I’m shocked. Pika was one of the nicest and most genuine person I’ve ever interacted with. When I first joined the forums she was the one person who stunned me with her generosity and kindness. She truly lit up the room for others, especially during difficult times. Her selflessness and compassion will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace Pika

My microbiology professor was the absolute worst. They had a track record of failing over 90% of their students. They would assign quizzes that was supposed to relate to their lecture or textbook, but none of the content in the quizzes matched at all. Oh and their exams where terrible, 15 short answer questions and 5 multiple choice. If you missed at least one detail in your short answer you get 0 credit. They also had a “study guide” to pair with the exams, but it was their way of cramming in new concepts 2 days before the exams. And god forbid you asked a question during lecture you straight up get verbally abused for “not reading the textbook”. What sucks about that is they assign the reading the night before, so like wtf?! There was like 23 of us in total, but in the end there were 4 of us left. Most students withdrew or dropped out of the course, but they were the only microbiology professor at the time so it meant summer school with them again or staying an extra sem. Luckily I aced that class, but I would never put myself through hell again it was waaaaay too time consuming.

Oh wow! I had a feeling that it would since it's one of the most important and one of the most difficult career fields to go into so I'm not really surprised. And ugh that sounds horrible! I feel really bad...
But hey, if you're really passionate about it and even make that extra dough than most careers...
...I guess it could be worth it!I did my research and apparently, nurses have to work more hours a day than physicians. And the studying does seem like it would eat time out of your day as well just for med school

No problem!! Yep med school would eat up your 20s and early 30s but hey at least your free to enjoy afterwords!
Oh that makes sense since some nurses do overtime so their hours are longer, but at least overtime pays up to 2-3x base pay!

I'm tryna get into med school but there have been times when I'm like "I don't want to go to school for that long!" And I also question my free time in med school and as an actual doctor/nurse because I still don't actually know how often and how long your breaks are but I also understand there are overnight shifts.
Med school will def strip you of your social life, there’s been so many times where I noticed I didn’t have as much time as I would like to my self due to studying…I hate memorizing medications for pharmacology
During my clinical rotation last semester, one of the nurses told me they get a 1 hr break for a 12 hr shift that can be split as: 2x 30min, 1x hour, 4x 15min breaks, etc. For night shift they get an additional 1hr nap break if it’s not too busy, but at the end of the day it depends on management and hospital contract! If I went to nursing school I’d probably get eye bags from the lack of sleep lmaooo

Other than FAFSA, work study, and scholarships you can try talking to a financial aid counselor . Depending on your situation and explanation they tend to give out extra aid. One of the reasons I usually give is that I full stack my units to around 18-24 so I don’t have time to work an extra job on top of work study. I’ve avoided having to pay around 10k in student loans just by talking to the financial aid counselors each year, they usually increase one of my scholarships or just bill extra credits on my student account to offset the total. Oh one thing to mention if your campus is big like the UC system it can be hard to schedule an appointment with financial aid counselors, and make sure to go at a time that isn’t too busy I noticed they tend to be more cranky when it’s busy lol, good luck!!

I need to pick up a physical copy of RBB, that's like the only album that I don't have a copy of tysm!!

The bloom albums are so pretty, I finally bit the bullet and bought one at music plaza. They only had Seulgi’s cover left, but it’s still gorgeous nonetheless!
I can watch this over and over. She has such an amazingly bright energy and charisma for days. You can tell she's genuinely having fun. Wannie!!!
