Soloists do experiment and try new sounds and genres, it's just that they can't rely on a loyal fandom backing like groups so they need to release public friendly songs

the lighting is so crummy but Somi looks gorg regardless. Also her english is so good! and her personality is really fun, Somi is a universal stan attractor

Sullyoon's visual is really special.. almost every kpop idol is pretty, but Sullyoon is one of the few that can be classed as outstandingly beautiful along with Tzuyu, Irene, Jisoo, etc.

and not only is she pretty but I was surprised to find that she has a personality and a voice! usually visuals are quiet and shy but Sullyoon brakes that mold! with a bit of push from JYP and luck she can go far

imo Karina is more "it girl" material, but Winter's voice is so special, SM really hit the jackpot with that. Winter's voice is like the saving grace of Aespa's songs imo

now that she says it i can see J does have a sort of JYP vibe, but I'm happy she left, J is perfect as STAYC's maknae

i can believe some idols browse korean forums like pann or theqoo but no, i don't think idols are reading an English kpop forum

A similar thread to this has likely already been made because i'm like a day late, but IDK i'll say it again because it needs to be said...

STAYC has one of the best lives in kpop as a rookie! No they aren't belting out Ailee high notes every other line, but each member can handle her part and sounds exactly like the studio version, which imo is all i ask for in a kpop group that also has to dance and perform

anyways, let's just appreciate this talent, and congrats STAYC girls on 2 wins for RUN2U!!!

worst- Stereotype era (as we all know Stayc's stylist was really out of control this era lol)

I'm so shocked, the song sounds so mature like a Sunmi song or a song for a senior group, especially coming after Stereotype which still had fresh rookie vibes, I think Run2u is like the complete evolution of Stayc.

If I had one criticism it would be that the trumpet sounds during the chorus are too loud and over powering

i think this song will get mixed reception because it is so different from Stayc's past releases, and i don't anticipate it charting well because there's no catchy hook like ASAP or Stereotype
