I just accept that 3rd gen is too superior that everyone want them to go faster or else the new debuting groups will have no achievements. Like every of the 4th gen groups achievements will have 'the first 4th gen', 'the faster 4th gen', 'the most 4th gen', something like that in their narrative which is very sad to see as if you include them with the 3rd, they will easily get overlook.

And waiting forever for them to release some music? Thanks but nope.

there are kpop wikis where you can find pretty much everything though.
https://kpop.fandom.com/wiki/Beauty_Box
if you have problems finding an artist, I always add 'korean' or 'kpop' in my search.
It is not there as I search them before after find out about a Vietnamese member in there, guess they are in kpop wiki now yet I prefer finding them in social media, tbh.

I only care for the music not the names.
But how people will stan if their name alone make it harder to find any information about them. I'm interested with this nugu group name beauty box but I give up because it is harder to get information about them because of their name.
-
But their name means Bulletproof Boy Scouts, which is far from a cliche. It has nothing to do with behind the scenes.
Errr... The short form, dear. BTS. I stated there that Bts stand for Bangtan Sonyeondan for them. As early fans, before they get popular, you need to type their longer name to get them as the results and if you search for BTS, only bunch of videos about behind the scenes will come out from google. Now you can simply search Bts and they're the first results to come out. And I believe many only know them as Bts especially non kpop fans and not by their official longer name.

How is BTS a cliche name?
It stand for Behind the scenes before bts get super popular. And I know they have longer name but outside of Korea, they're known as Bts than Bangtan Sonyeondan. But cliche maybe not the right word, probably need to reword that again.

Have you ever seen the name of a kpop group and directly thought this must be a nugu or flop group? Honestly, for me names like Saturday, Too, Beauty Box, and Weeekly even with 3 E are very difficult to find on Google especially before unless they are from a large company that has a lot of attention from the media. And wtf with Botopass, GreatGuys and Dustin, like who give the company idea with such horrible name. And not forgetting the onlyoneof, onf and offonoff groups. I thought they are all from the same group, is it difficult for their company to give a different name from another group and be more special with it?
There are also some names from famous groups that I feel quite ugly at first but it is just grows in me like Mamamoo. I like them so much but the first time I heard their name, I couldn’t help but laugh. And Ab6ix reminds me of the name of that masculine gym just for man, sorry. And name like Bts and Twice can kill popularity if used by the wrong group and you know why. Luckily it goes to the right owner.
Honorable mention: If I search 'Solar' in Google, just something related to solar energy that came out and i must add Mamamoo in the back. Like girl, you're famous but your name is hard to search.

YG isn't picking endorsements over music releases cause that isn't even necessary. They could easily have just as many CFs even with 2 group releases a year. It only takes like a day or two to shoot CF stuff so they could even do that in the middle of promos since they only do one show a week anyway. BP has more cfs than most groups but still it's not like they're constantly busy with that
If not, then why bp didn't releasing music more often than now? Yg clearly do prefer Cf over music. Keep them in public for everything expect music. They're minimizing their expense and get as much profit as possible without spend a cent. New music and mv consume tons of money and Yg is not in their golden years anymore. You can see it by the year end profits earn by each company. Not to mention how more powerful bp stans the longer they get hiatus which Yg know that.

*TLDR* Care in mind that I don't bash or downgrading any of this groups and just asking for opinions.
It is about 4 or 5 years since 4th gen started around 2018 if I'm not mistaken. But then, everything seems moving really slow with them expect for sales. For gg, I do understand that as most of company just actively debuting their ngg starting last year and Aespa is doing really well which the progress is there for the gg.
When Exo debut and started the new one, they make it clear why they're the new gen. They sell well and charted well too even beat many records from previous gen. And for the whole 3rd gen, I believe most of you guys here know about their achievements even at the early day.
So, why it seems harder for the 4th gen especially bg to flourish more as kpop are more accepted and known than back then but it seems only help them with the album sales. They get more fans but even now you talk about kpop to non fans and most still thinking about the 3rd with none about the 4th gen especially bg in their minds which not happen in the 3rd even people still talking about the 2nd. Is it because of the company's strategy or what?

last year this award show gave like 6 awards to bts but netizens don't remember that i guess
Bts have the highest physical sales and digital last year which back up their daesang and dynamite is one of the biggest hit ever that netizens cannot argue with that. So, if Bts and IU who both doing really well and lead the digital and album sales didn't win the daesang, well of course people will say something.

Seventeen actually has 13 members
The fact that even kpop fans still thought Seventeen has 17 members always make me chuckle 🤭

But then, kpop scene completely different from other countries music industry too. They have something called trainee's debt that the artist need to pay all of that before actually making money and getting paid after their debut. Not to mention that how much they spend on something like mv and a lot more things as you can actually see how kpop are better on that side. If I compare to any singer from my country, if they sold same amount of album, one will get rich as hell as they don't spend much on the production and one is probably doing just enough.

The cfs are the one who looking out for their ambassador or models for their products. And you all forgot how Idol School literally a huge scam show that what koreans dislike. Combine that with they didn't have popularity like what Izone have at least, so there all the line connected.

Agree with this. I used to think that secret number is one of the biggest group for the fourth generation because of all the hype they get from social media. But turn out, they're not.
