Preferences are what happened between Wendy and Joy, someone mentioned Wendy above. This is NOT what happened with Lisa vs Rose. The discrepancy was orders of magnitude different, 2.7x is not a normal distribution curve. This speaks to something far more pervasive than idol "preference".

There was also a study released about Korean searches, Lisa had about half or even a third of the interest that the Korean members got. I remember seeing that and my heart sank. I worried about Lisa's debut because of that and my worries were 100% confirmed.

All of you might be happy sticking your heads in the sand and thinking these huge discrepancies are because of "preferences". But i know racist behavior and attitude when i see it. I LIVED it growing up.

Again searches only show preference. It's funny because lalisa peaked at 20s right? So she did the same as korean members of a red velvet which is adored by koreans. You set ur expectations high and got disappointed. She didn't even do that bad at the start but the song didn't rise. Even Somi charted worse than lisa in the beginning but her song rose on charts. Atleast koreans showed inital interest to her compared to other koreans but it's still xenophobia?. You are only calling it xenophobia because the song didn't do as well as jennie and rose and did not rise on charts .

This thread is funny I admit. Is it lisakarma if the song is going viral not because of her name and it's not even the title song that got an MV and has her full name on it that lisa worked hard to promote but because of tiktok trend which is out of her control and people don't even know who is the artist of money?
