LOL tell them to go to las vegas or arizona where it's 120-125 degree heat (50-52 celcius), they won't die just drink a lot of water and try to stay hydrated. I lived in the desert from 1993-2022 i'm still alive lol

"Desert" is the key there - it is easier to survive high temperatures in dry climates. High humidity degrades your primary natural thermal regulation - sweating - because the air is already saturated with water which makes the evaporation process go slower. Most recent research has shown that young and healthy humans can endure a wet bulb temperature (i.e. at 100% humidity) of just 31 degrees Celsius max. For example, let's take Thailand - it has an average humidity of around 70-80% in the summer, so 35-36 degrees Celsius heat would already be approaching this critical WBT, and we have 40-45 degrees predicted which would put the WBT well into the deadly zone.

GM Ding Liren is the new world champion after beating GM Ian Nepomniachtchi in the final rapid tiebreak game of the 2023 FIDE World Championship. Following a 7-7 tie in a thrilling 14-game classical match, it all came down to the final rapid game, which Ding won with Black in sensational style. GM Magnus Carlsen's reign is no more. For the first time since 2013, the torch has been passed to Ding, the 17th world champion.

Aside from claiming the title of world champion, Ding will receive €1.1 million for his victory while Nepomniachtchi will receive €900,000.

These random propaganda videos are funny. The reality is that China is simply steadily moving up the value chain like Japan in the past, the labour-intensive industries (like assembly, clothes, etc.) are migrating to cheaper countries like Vietnam but at the same time these countries become even more dependent on China because they need components or machinery from China. This is supported by the fact that ASEAN in the last years became the biggest trading partner of China, demand for Chinese exports there grew by 35% (!!) YoY in March despite the global economic slowdown.

The fact this is marketed twords Chinese consumers literally means that Dior is making fun of their clients

Par to the course for the racist "high fashion" (more like overrated garbage) companies - remember the racist D&G ad:

    Quote

The videos feature an Asian woman in a lavish Dolce & Gabbana dress attempting to eat pizza, spaghetti and cannoli. With Chinese folk music playing in the background, a Mandarin-speaking voiceover kicks in: "Welcome to the first episode of 'Eating with Chopsticks' by Dolce & Gabbana" — pronounced incorrectly on purpose in a way that mocks Chinese speech.

The male voice proceeds to mansplain how to "properly" eat the dishes. "Is it too big for you?" mocks the voiceover when the woman doesn't know what to do with the gigantic cannoli. "Let's use these small stick-like things to eat our great pizza margherita," he instructs in another video.

That model also had a makeup emphasizing her "slanted" eyes to make her look more "exotic". Then the racist duo doubled down:

    Quote

Just hours before the show, a fashion blogger shared a screenshot of an alleged chat between designer Stefano Gabbana and an Instagram user in which designer Gabbana appeared to call China a "country of [five poop emojis]" and "ignorant dirty smelling mafia.

So yes, they want the money but also talk shit about their Asian clients.

They didn't raise hell when Solar did sing Cleopatra in one of the MAMAs

Did Solar also say that her portrayal of Cleopatra is historically accurate? If not, then why are you comparing these two things? Sounds like whataboutism.

Hollywood is trying to correct years and years of whitewashing and this time they went overboard. Changing history to fit your agenda, yikes

Well, instead of blackwashing they could spend some effort and create more authentic Black stories, centered around Black people. But of course Hollywood did not really change and they are doing this minimal effort stuff to placate people, otherwise why would they still whitewash & erase Asians from their own stories - from Ghost in the Shell to Three Body Problem?

In the military front, US is trying to form an Asian NATO alliance with SK and Japan and announced they will be expansioning their bases in the Philiphines to complete the encirclement of China in the indo pacific. A miscalculation in the SCS or the Taiwan strait could trigger a military conflict but with the Ukraine war still ongoing both China and US cannot afford another war at this time.

China spends little to no resources in the Ukraine war unlike the US, in fact they get cheap energy resources from Russia that is now hastily re-routing their existing gas & oil trade paths to China.

However, there are many avenues for China to escalate against the US provocations without firing shots in the SCS or Taiwan strait. The US could respond with sanctions, of course, but Russia-induced inflation was limited primarily to commodities, while inflation induced by anti-China sanctions would be across the whole spectrum of goods if they are similar in scope. Not even talking about the speed run of de-dollarization if they try to seize Chinese assets & foreign reserves.

It basically mean many companies will move production to different countries. Not all of course but plenty of them

It only means that the labour-intensive industries like apparel or assembly will move out and they actually have been moving out for a long time now, primarily to Vietnam and Bangladesh. The process will be slow and with many road bumps along the way as e.g. Apple is now finding out. Higher value-added industries will continue operating and expanding (e.g. BASF, Volkswagen, etc.) their presence in China as FDI expected to reach record-high in 2023.

Sydney man accused of drugging, filming his sexual assaults of Korean women
A man described as a “prominent member” of Sydney’s Indian community is currently on trial for 13 counts of rape, among multiple other sex crimes, in…

    He specifically targeted Korean women.

    Heart-breaking:

She shared that after she consumed the wine he gave her in his apartment, she felt dizzy and went to the bathroom to message her friend her location.

Sister, I feel very intoxicated however slightly different kind of intoxication,” the victim wrote in her text. “And I am worried myself. Keeps trying to kiss me… I am f*cked up.”

He was let out on bail despite overwhelming evidence, even hired by ABC (I thought Western media cared so much about human rights?) and Pfizer.

    Quote

Dhankhar was a "lead data visualization consultant" for Sydney Trains at the time he allegedly committed the crimes. During the period he was out on bail, he was hired by ABC and Pfizer.

Unsurprisingly, has deep connections to the Hindu supremacist Indian ruling party - BJP (OFBJP translates to Overseas Friends of BJP):

    Quote

Balesh Dhankhar, former president of the Indian diaspora organization OFBJP Australia, stands accused of rape by five women, all of whom are Korean and in their mid-20s. The women claimed that they were lured by Dhankhar under the pretext of offering them jobs before he drugged and raped them in his apartment between January 2018 and October 2018.

    Quote

Balesh Dhankar was prominent in organising the Sydney reception of Prime Minister Narendra Modi when the PM visited Australia in 2014

Please do proper formatting next time or I won't be bothered to read that wall of text.

Blinken's visit was not confirmed by China, it was just something the US said and then cancelled (rather conveniently), so most likely it was not happening anyway and it was just another publicity stunt. There's no need for China to meet with Blinken, the US made it clear that it wants war - https://www.nbcnews.com/politi…china-2025-memo-rcna67967 - everything else is just trying to win time to build up their presence in Asia-Pacific. The time for "diplomacy" is over. Perhaps they will get dragged into another war tho:

It is rather amusing that you are crapping on Republicans yet repeat their "COVID LIAR KILLER NATION" blame game because your government handled COVID poorly in 2020 and tried to shift blame from themselves. The "SPANISH FLU LIAR KILLER NATION" (USA) got warning back in January 2020 but did not do anything, that's a fact.

This ridiculous story is most likely a Pentagon psyops to promote war with China. You're telling me China managed to fly a balloon all the way across the Pacific Ocean just to spy on American ICBM bases and the US who spends almost $1 trillion in defense couldn't detect a freaking balloon before entering it's airspace? lol

Here's some real news of Pentagon mass testing spy balloons from 4 yrs ago:

    Image

Interestingly enough, it is actually quite hard to detect these kind of objects - they have low RCS and move at low speeds, hence radar systems will most likely filter them out as background noise. This balloon was detected by essentially pure luck. In addition to that, their altitude makes them hard to reliably shoot down - this is probably why the US is now trying to save face and talk about being "worried about debris". If they try to shoot it down and then botch the attempt or spend too much resources on that, they will become a laughing stock and even Western media would not be able to cover it up due to the buzz this whole story gained on social media.

It is hilarious to watch the supapowa having a meltdown and crying over a balloon, when they regularly sail battleships and fly fighter jets near other countries using hundreds of military bases around the world. As for the "weather balloon", it might be trolling by China - back in the Cold War, the US claimed that the USSR downed a "weather plane" when the latter shot down their U-2 spy plane. Btw, should have called it "Lunar balloon" ;-)
