"Girls Generation" was released as the second single in 2008 but was actually part of the debut album release in 2007. "Into the New World", "Kissing You", and "Baby Baby" were all part of that same Album in 2007 and released concurrently in the form of a physical Album. You can't release a song AFTER it has already been released. Gee the song and the EP IS their second release after their debut Album which contained all those other songs.
So to use your logic against you (again), Tell Me doesn't count as Wonder Girls' second single because it was in their debut album. "So Hot" would be their "2nd single" because it was its own EP, and Nobody would be like their third. but I also said "era" not "singles". And it doesn't change the fact that JYP girl groups tend to do very well in the beginning due to hype but have a very noticeable declines after just 1-2 years.

I have loved several of Loona's recent releases, Why Not and Star are SOTY quality for me. But even now, i still dont understand why BBC chose to have so many members in the group. It couldve easily just been a 7 member group, which wouldve reduced expenses by a decent chunk.
Heejin, Yves, Chuu, Olivia, Jinsoul, Cherry, and Kim Lip seem like the favored members anyway when it comes to line distribution.
Having a ton of members seems to be the strategy for more cuter, girl next door type of groups. Since their fans will primarily be boys and there would be at certain members that appeal to certain preferences. But LOONA has been marketed more towards "woke", LGBTQ, often female fans. So yeah I don't know what the company's long term strategy was. The company was way too small to take that many risks

Their pre debut promotions were extensive, too many filler members, Kpop videos are getting more and more expensive to produce in order to keep up with the trends.

lol I didn't see Trouble Maker originally at first hence why I was asking? Why so aggressive Han Sohee
Please give us the tea on YG instead
Why are shitposts like this allowed to pollute threads. Waste of first page space. I guess having 7k posts doesn't have anything to do with the quality of posts.

Where would you rank Troublemaker?
If you read my post, Trouble Maker (the single) was ranked #3.
Also do you know how my thread works? I'm asking you for your ranking. No offence but how do you have 7k posts and 9k reactions

My ranking:
1. Now - I loved the grungey sound and aesthetic this era. Chemistry's photobook also had a jaw dropping amount of skinship and who doesn't like porn, amirite. Jokes aside Chemistry was a solid EP with a solid title. "I Like" makes me feel so clubby and trashy.
2. Retro Future - Simple song but extremely underrated. Her vocals are so nice here especially with the quality production. Triple H was serving retro visuals and music years before everyone was doing it in 2020. P-nation needs to sign in Hui and continue Triple H.
3. Trouble Maker - Her first Trouble Maker EP/Single and still one of her best. Legendary title track and the B-sides are great as well. Trouble Maker's MAMA performances are always so risqué and provocative. We need this in Kpop again...
4. 365 Fresh - Great song, love the problematic suicide triggers in the video. Iconic video ending. I wasn't a fan of the group's styling though, especially the faux freckles.
5. Oppa Is Just My Style - I was never a huge fan of Gangnam Style so this one was meh. Also I don't know how I feel about her Pikachu voice.
6. Ping Pong - By far her weakest co-ed single, if not single overall. Has that low budget saxophone dance break chorus that should've been left in the mid 2010s. Pre-chorus was actually promising, but in the end the whole song sounded like a bunch of other P-nation songs mashed together. Her visuals this era were a bit unflattering but it was very colorful and I'm not totally opposed to it, I just wish the song sounded as eccentric and experimental as the aesthetic.
What's your ranking? I won't hate yours so don't hate mine, it's just for fun people..

i can sing along to the following songs
Brave Girls - cmbr, rollin
T-ara - wae ironie, i'm in pain
Blackpink - aiiyl
there are other songs like roly poly, wonder girls be my baby and others i can at least sing some lines.
TASTE
How Dare You is such an underrated unapologetic hoe anthem, that song got me into them even before they blew up with So Cool. And you're right about those older mid-tempo T-ara songs. I never realized how easy they were to sing even without knowing Korean. Like I can totally sing the chorus of those two songs on the spot. 2nd gen music is legendary

You literally have a 2 digit IQ if you think having a profile pic and name of someone supports them in any meaningful way. I'm not sending money to her or following her in social media and shit, calm tf down. But let's say I am an actual supporter, are you any better for giving my thread and profile more awareness? People like you are the reason Kardashians exist, literal pawns lol
