Translation:
Hello. It's ADOR
I'm always grateful to all the fans who cherish and love NewJeans.
From the music video of 'Bubble Gum' released on April 26th to last week's 'Supernatura music broadcast activity, I'm thrilled to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the debut after completing the three months of activities.
From broadcasting activities in Korea and Japan to Tokyo Dome fan meetings, it was a time to meet and feel deep love to the fans who support NewJeans on various stages.
In particular, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the members of NewJeans, all the staff, and many people who helped us, who worked hard to ensure that all the schedule could be carried out without any setbacks, even in the circumstances of unexpected difficulties.
However, I know that even in the midst of this joy, there are voices who are worried about the spread of facts and other stories through the media and SNS without filtration.
It is also important to correct the distorted facts, so I would like to tell you about it.

- Bubble Gum' plagiarism controversy facts
1. After the release of Bubble Gum' music video on April 26th, on May 20th, I received an email from Hive with a similarity issue from Edition Korea, which is in charge of Shakatak's agency, Wise Music Group in Korea.
2. On May 21st, the composers of Bubble Gum replied that they had never heard of 'Easier Said Than Done' until Shaka's problem was raised, and that's why Shakatak's composition was not used without permission.
3. On May 13, when the issue began to receive media attention, ADOR had already commissioned a professional analysis from two prominent overseas musicologists to prepare for the possibility that the issue would be missed differently from its essence, considering that the dispute with the Hive was spreading at the time.
4. Then, on June 17, a proof of content arrived from Shakatak's domestic legal agent, and the company officially replied on June 21st that "I have already replied that Shakatak's composition was not used without permission, so I ask you to submit a public and reliable analysis report that proves that it is unauthorized use."
The two songs 'Bubble Gum' and 'Easier Said Than Done' are different from the chord progression (D Majorg x2 -C# minor7 - F# mi-nor7), and the bpm, the overall mood and flow of the song are different. In particular, the question of 'unsored use' on this issue is completely different from the fact, and it is judged that the development of a short word of melody is similar. But it's hard to argue that this melodic development was characteristically used only in 'Easier Said Than Done.' This is because it is a form of line that can be found in many popular music regardless of genre from music released before Easier Said Than Done' to the present.
Based on this, we strongly objected to the plagiarism controversy, and if there is any additional rebuttal to this, we have requested that the main party discuss it again with a public analysis report. In the process of whether to plagiarism related to music, that is, checking the similarity of the music, submitting a report or requesting it is a very natural and common procedure. However, we regret that some media, without understanding the process, asked for an analysis report from the side that raised the issue as if it were a demand against industry ethics on this issue.
If you think there is no problem, you don't want to hide it and negotiate the cost or fix it, but go through the process of covering up the problem. Although it is clear that this is a formal procedure and a normal procedure to respond to the issue, Odoor is currently facing a difficult situation at various points.
We have found various problems and limitations of the structure in which Hive is in charge of PR and legal affairs. In particular, we have found various problems in dealing with issues in some media and in communication and response to Hive, which is in charge of PR in the media.
Even though we are going through the general process of response, there are an overflow of exaggerated and biased reports of articles that seem to be a problem as if the word is responding abnormally, ignoring the progress so far, and accurate fact-checks.
In particular, some media use this to attract unrelated issues and produce negative issues. The seriousness of the problem is serious in that the problem is that the results of Japan's recent activities are reduced to distorted information, or some vague opinions from sources without public public reliability are pouring out distorted articles at the same time and spreading false facts.
In addition, I question the communication in the hive where the issue was filed and made, and the way Hive, which represents the PR of Adoor, treats the media.
Initially, Shakatak raised the issue through the Hive mail account, and in general, this content should have been shared on the label, and then disseminated and cooperated with the appropriate relevant departments under the consent and decision of the label. However, even though Hive is sensitive to the label, it spread this content to various departments without the consent of Adore, causing a situation where the respondent to this incident was unnecessarily expanded. In addition, rather than working closely with the label to find a solution to the problem and minimize the spread of negative issues, we have shown a lukewarm and bystand attitude until the request of the door, so there are continuous objections to this day.
Since the function in charge of legal and public relations is ubixious in the Hive, not each label, it is in charge of the function of protecting New Jeans from various sibi, so Ador has made a voice for service improvement several times in the past.
Because of this situation, ADOR is doing its best to solve the problem with its own efforts.
In fact, this case is also conducted by the legal department of Bis & Natives, which is in charge of the music of Adore and New Jeans, and the publisher of the composer, and we are trying to correct the facts by monitoring the article through Odore's own manpower.
In addition, we are also trying to respond to malicious comments and reverse virals, and we received feedback from the Hive legal team that it was difficult to catch the malicious commenter of DC Inside, especially the so-called 'Yudong', and it was frustrating that CEO Min Hee-jin of Ador asked to meet with Kim Yu-sik, CEO of DC Inside, and actively discussed ways to find and eradicate the malicious commenter.
Through this meeting, I learned that the agency's hotline exists and that through close collaboration with the investigation agency, I can even detect malicious comments without an ID.
This is explained and confirmed by CEO Kim Yu-sik, and the reason for disclosing this fact is that anonymous community activities are difficult to be caught, and it is unfounded rumors to leave malicious commenters or use him to sound a warning to those who do evil.
Currently, ADOR is doing its best to take the best measures to eradicate the act of making malicious comments based on anonymity. Even if it takes time, we are actively looking for all ways to protect New Jeans.
New Jeans, who has successfully completed this activity, which has been running through many difficult processes, will have a break to recharge, and then take time to prepare for a new look.
However, in the meantime, we will visit our fans with amazing schedules and contents, so we ask for your expectations and attention.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always loving New Jeans.
